I really love all the warriors getting some love. More map and UI changes are great too. Why nerf Nazeebo though? Can't a hero be in a good spot and not need any attention? He wasn't highly picked but he wasn't bottom either.
Smart nerf to Zeratul. I don't think they went overboard but will give far more counter play to him VP'ing.

Naz probably needed a nerf because for a specialist he could deal an absurd amount of raw damage. Since Spiders became the "one true build" they tend to try and avoid those situations.

Good changes to lesser used warriors.

Good change to Johanna's level 1.

Leo's Q took a massive but necessary hit.

Hopefully this is what Chen needs to be more competitive, super fun hero. I'm kind of disappointed I never got into SC, some goodies there for the xpac.

Chen is already considered a decent third warrior for some comps in Korea (even competitively). So any buffs, and those are all buffs, will just put him further up that ladder.

A lot of his damage comes from applying his shitty poison to basically everything all the time, including summoned units and shit and you end up with ridiculously padded numbers because of it.

Problem with nerfing spiders imo is you didn't only take spiders because they were super good, you took spiders because there is fuck all to pick at these tiers anyway. You'll still pick spider cluster and leaping spider because every other talent at that range more or less sucks, the only tiers that have some choices are the toad versus range/duration ones, where you either get really strong toads more often or you increase your range and duration on most of your abilities.

I mean the only thing I'd potentially consider is Hardened Focus for reduced CD if you're at high health over Leaping Spiders, but since you don't have self heals(well not good ones), it's very easy for it to do nothing, while Leaping spiders are still extremely strong in every situation since they guarantee your spiders are dealing damage(and more dmg too) and applying poison to stuff. I guess merc lord could potentially be interesting but spider cluster basically doubles the damage it does so it's a very hard talent to drop.

Not a big fan of him getting nerfed when he wasn't even top tier though.

I need more SC heroes I care to play so I'm in the same boat. I suck at positioning on fragile heroes so usually try to stick to warriors, supports, and long range specialists. Excited for Morales and Artanis.

Leoric makes me a bit sad but I really can't argue that a one shot ability that can pretty much clear a wave at higher levels was working as intended.

Leo could also put out damage numbers that rivaled a Jaina throughout the course of a game (granted less burst/teamfight damage.) He had to get nerfed somehow and they took the route of taking his balls off Q. Which is appropriate. I'm glad they didn't mess with the nature of his playstyle.

I'm still not sure why he gets bonus damage on creeps without a talent though. Pretty much every other hero has to talent for it, besides Stitches long cd single target eating thing, but Leoric blows up entire wave in one skill. I guess it's the only skill that hits creeps but still it's kinda weird design, most warriors are just shit at clearing creeps quick and have to talent to get better at it, which feels like a fair tradeoff. It's not even thematic, or at least only barely(like in D3 he can kill his own skeletons when he swings his mace which I guess where it comes from, but at the same time he doesn't one shot them unless you're playing on normal so...).

Looking forward to medic, however it's quite a while away before I'll buy her since for some fucked up reason they add new heroes at 15k gold instead of straight 10k, which means buying it during the first week is a huge waste of gold. The worst way to do an incentive to buy it for real money. That and every hero they add is 10k it seems. I guess they might make Artanis not 10k as a show of good will, and also because you can get him for free if you buy the SC2 expansion anyway so it's like whatever.

Yeah I think it should be a general rule that default kit waveclear should go: Specialist, Mage, Bruiser, ADC, Tank, Support. Now if you want to elect to take wave clearing talents (ie: malf @ 1 / jo @ 1) that is fine and there is obviously some flexibility to the ranking but in general that is how it should go. But Leoric could waveclear better than Specialists and still filled the tank role damn well. Now you could argue he's more a bruiser and there is probably some truth in the argument.

Lol at those Tass reasons, dude needs a rework
Yeah, what the fuck. They mess with him every patch but it's not like he's had some golden moment where he's been some OP badass. He's just kinda been whatever the whole time.

He was op for awhile after they reworked his psi storm and before they nerfed it. He still couldn't solo support, but his damage output was so insane heals weren't exactly needed.

Interesting perspective from Fan on Tyrande. Are the numbers out yet on how much Shadowstalk is going to heal for? He makes it sound like a big deal for competitive play if she becomes a viable solo healer. He also glosses over Chen/Diablo which was interesting too.
