C9 with the dream win and in on Blackhearts with a Tyrande Uther Raynor Johanna KT comp and loses. Feels bad man.

I also agree that Blizzard fucked up hard by leaving this on the SC2 engine. If they built the game from the bottom up as a MOBA they'd be in a much better situation. Now they are stuck trying to deal with an engine that just wasn't designed for this.

I mean I think Blizzard insisting on making their own engines for everything has always been a mistake. They are never as good as the engines they could license and customize. And it isn't like they are short on cash to do so.

Scrims is probably the most fun I have in HotS lately and it is essentially completely outside of the current official structure of the game. The game is fantastic, everything surrounding the game really needs work. And if that work isn't done very soon, I think they are going to lose a significant portion of their player base that will then be very leary of coming back if and when changes are implemented. SEL proves it is absolutely true for the high end players and I am starting to see it in the 2-4k MMR range of the players I regularly group with as well.

Which engines are you referring to? SC2 is the best RTS engine ever created and D3's engine is the best ARPG engine ever made [the actual guts they put in it, however, is not]. For it's age WoW's engine still performs quite well. The only game I can think of that really seems to have a shitty engine in HotS and that is because it is piggy backing on SC2's.

Disagree whole heartedly. Smoothest engine running on simplistic design maybe, but even with as fail as the management of CoH franchise has been. The CoH2 engine (even with as unoptimized as it is) with everything it adds in terms of tactics and strategy gameplay elements is hands down superior to SC2. SC2 is one of the most polished games I've ever played, but it is laughingly simple in terms of gameplay mechanics - which is a product of engine design.

I barely consider CoH an RTS because it is mostly absent micro. Sure it isn't turn based so it technically is a RTS but it doesn't compare at all to Starcraft in the way it plays. And all of Starcraft is a design decision. There isn't anything in the game that is because they threw their hands up and said the engine couldn't do it.

-edit-

The only "engine can't do it" thing that comes to mind is drop in/drop out spectating of games. But that isn't a gameplay issue that is a spectating issue.

I need the #1 man in my life Tychus to get reworked ASAPly

But it is nice to see the #1 ? in my life Brightwing got some of her waveclear back. Her Z was worthless since you couldn't clear lanes worth a shit so you couldn't function like a Falstad support because you needed someone to help you kill shit.

Bruhhhhhhhhh. My only complaint, she doesn't look asian what so ever lol

Black Hole as an Ult would have been sick, but with her CM passive it would have made her insanely broken i'd assume.

Seems like a character that has a very high skill cap. If she does good damage she'll see immediate play in the competitive scene imo. It doesn't look like disintegrate does that much damage, which would make both of her ults a little on the weak side. Having the ult get refreshed by passive could be clutch though

I assume at the end of the trailer when she goes full Archon mode the damage will be a lot higher. Unless they do some crazy shit where it's a stand alone talent at 20 that swaps her ult into Archon mode that has it's own skill set much like D3 would be pretty nutty too (and i highly doubt will happen)

Definitely looks like a higher skillcap character, and that certainly intrigues me.. her Q looks really interesting, specially when it turns into the 5x missiles instead of 3
