I completely understand nerfing avatar. That ult is insanely good and it still will be without the OP auto attack stuns for 10 year duration.

Increasing Falstads Hinterlands blast damage is cool... increasing the CD too? uhh.... it's not like anybody that is -good- with him will ever take it over Gust anyway.

Interesting to see how Nova pans out, there was never a reason to not pin->auto->snipe->run away and rinse/repeat for the bonus 20% out of cloak damage. Now maybe there will be.

Yeah i don't know what to think about those changes.. not being able to Q structures to help PVE once in awhile is really poor design. Guess they really do want her to just roam and ignore PVE though so whatever lol.

They could make so the buff only fades if it whiffs on 'anything', and alternatively it will only accumulate the buff if it hits an actual hero?

I think being able to auto/instantly cloak at 20 will be pretty sick though lol

Bolt of the Storm is still better than some gimmicky insta-cloak. I really think they didn't give the snipe changes enough thought. She loses so much power and now is even further pigeonholed into being a hero assassin only, and she has to work harder to even break even with her power level pre-nerf, plus now she can't even unload on a structure.

Mehhhhhh.

removing Psi-Op Rangefinder, ambush snipe, and railgun blows. Along with nerfing snipe's damage.

They sure want to make her sub-par

I agree with Nid, bolt is way better then an instant cloak.

It always makes me sad when I am in a game where Zeratul takes that shit ult. The impact of Void Prism is to big to pass up.

Did a game last night where our zera constantly VPed his own team at the wrong time, giving the opponents perfect placement to gib us once out of it. Happened 3 times, not even kidding.

Only time i wished a zera picked the other ult.


On another note, sure looks like blizz heard all the complaints about their snail pace updates. Now lets see how long they keep it up.

I never tried AA Zeratul, but wasn't AA + Shadow Assault viable in the past? I always went Void Prison for the utility, but I guess I could see SA working if cc is already covered via Mosh Pit or Devouring Maw.

It isn't that Shadow Assault isn't viable it's that VP offers so much more in terms of versatility . Plus if you are having a hard time sticking on someone as Zeratul you probably shouldn't be playing him. Void Prism can be used in so many different ways if done right it's a no brainer.. Then again if you are just wanting to shit stomp scrubs in QM then Shadow Assault could be fine.

of course bolt is better, bolt is broken across the board lol. It's still a neat little option that should imo be 16 or something instead, even if she has shittier damage she would be way harder to kill having 2 escape options

Bad Zeras are so, so, so bad for their team. Catch the Zera out and he uses VP defensively? Congrats you have complete control of the map for the next minute and a half or if they want to fight they're basically taking a 4.5v5.

They should build in the new 20 talent baseline and put it on like a 90s timer. Alternatively make it so the 20 talent resets her cooldowns so it basically works as a rewind + cloak. As it stands it sounds abysmal and like you said Bolt will be better in every situation.

So apparently they're taking away Bolt from Nova and that insta-cloak is her new 'escape'. They don't really like Bolt of the Storm so removing Bolt and giving a unique 'escape' is likely going to be a trend moving forward.

I agree with them that Bolt is bad design. It makes it so some heroes have zero escape then suddenly at 20 they have the best escape in the game.

Azmo's is weird but I still think Zagara's is the strangest lore-wise. In the SC universe only Protoss know how to access teleportation yet this zerg bitch can go teleporting around.
