Don't worry I'm sure there solution will be to keep the artifacts and nerf the heroes that are overpowered with them.

The fact that there hasn't been a developer post on any of this since the patch is unsettling to say the least.

Yeah, I'm very worried about this. At least we'll know early on if they start balancing heroes around artifacts it is most likely a lost cause and they are going to keep artifacts whether players want them or not.

Starting back on playing Abathur after watching the latest vodcast of Town Hall Heroes. Trying this aggressive lane Abathur of basically just pushing where no one is behind upgraded locust.

Also if you didn't know Abathur is currently bugged and if you take Riding Crop and clone a hero with a mount you will move at like 1200% speed. You can literally ride from one end of the map to the other in like 8 seconds.

How much internet nerd rage is it going to take for the lead designer to actually say something? I'm not sure if the fact he's been radio silent since the patch is a good thing or not.

They'll probably say something when it's finalized and they're ready to patch, no need to start communicating then do something else and have people up in arms about it too. They said right away that they were just testing systems when they added this so I'm sure they're aware there's quite a lot of displease, but mind you there's probably a bunch of positive reviews of the progression system and shit so they're most likely trying to asses what they can keep, what they have to change and what they have to remove versus just knee jerking "REVERT ALL THE THINGS BECAUSE REDDIT SAID SO". So wouldn't expect anything until the end of next week at the earliest.

Yeah, I didn't/don't expect them to say anything for awhile. They invited a lot more people with the patch and I'm sure one of the things they wanted to measure was how much new players spend in rl cash compared to before, something that'll take at least a month to get any kind of real measurement.

Valla with as + ls is equally retarded. You now have a ranged assassin who can take merc camps faster than many specialists and loses no life in the process. Things like that tell you they knew heroes would be broken with artifacts and implemented them anyway because they already nerfed valla's attack speed because higher attack speed + hatred stacks = broken.

IMO Valla isn't as broken as Hammer. Valla still dies instantly when you get on her. With Hammer even getting to her is a task then when you get on her she just regens a fuckton or boosts away.

Not to mention when you spec range. If you decide to go, and say, ok this was a bad idea, I need to jet. Well...Good luck with that since the range on hammer is beyond my on field of vision. Couple that with specing ranged damage boost. I am just taking advantage at the moment leveling the crap out of hammer. Win % is about 60ish in pubs. Smarts ones just crowd around me and chase off heroes that get close, while we push. I only lose when the team decides to leave me all alone, and I get jumped by 4 heroes, BUT i have actually killed 3 heroes, 2 came at the same time, I was level 17ish, killed 2, as second one was nearly dead 3rd came in, died pretty quickly too.

Having a Diablo and Hammer on my team and the other team is pretty common now. Considering those are the two most out of whack heroes at the moment. But I'm starting to get pretty decent at Abathur. IMO he is the best split pusher in the game especially at 16.

Broken is broken, no doubt hammer is a bigger pita to deal with though.

The hammer problem is also made worse with the warriors are now unkillable problem. Put just one warrior with hammer and it requires a full team dive to get anywhere near hammer.

Wow, that was a lot sooner than expected. The only problem with that is it makes last patch a pretty big nerf to my tassadar without artifacts

I think they had to move fast. I was quickly finding the game unplayable when you have a level20+ Diablo and fully slotted out Hammer/Valla just ripping people apart. It wasn't fun.

Yes and they did the right thing because it's a slippery slope once you start balancing heroes around having the best maxed out artifacts.

I'm just laughing about all the pro artifact posts now. Are these people actually serious or just trolling?
