More from Volker.

Devin Nunes: (02:01:50)
Deputy Assistant Secretary Kent, last Wednesday told us about there was an investigation, into Burisma, trying to recoup millions of taxpayer dollars, and the Ukrainians were pursuing an investigation, there was a bribe paid. Were you tracking that?
Kurt Volker: (02:02:09)
I was aware of those kinds of things. I couldn’t give you those kinds of details. I just know that there was a reputation around the company.
Devin Nunes: (02:02:17)
Okay. Subsequent to those facts, and the bribe being paid, the Burisma company wanted to improve their image, and added some folks to their board, including the President of Poland, including Hunter Biden. Are you familiar with that?
Kurt Volker: (02:02:34)
That’s what I understand.
Devin Nunes: (02:02:34)
To the extent the Ukrainians, that the folks affiliated with Burisma wanted to hire those people for their board, for protection purposes, so they could continue to engage in misdeeds. If that was a fact worth investigating, you certainly would be supportive of Ukrainians trying to get to the bottom of that, correct?
Kurt Volker: (02:02:56)
Well, I can’t speculate as to any of the specifics of what was motivating Burisma, or not. Ukrainian government authorities investigating possible corruption by Ukrainian citizens is a perfectly appropriate thing for them to do.

Its so odd that all these guys understand Burisma is a dirty company, investigated by the UK, and Ukraine until it hired Hunter Biden...And they think its absolutely appropriate to investigate this company given its long history of corruption, and the fact that the oligarch who owns it literally controls the government office which regulates the economic sector it operates in.

But they all seem to change their mind and back away when lifetime politicians from the U.S. might be involved. So weird. But I guess Hunter's daddy blocking those investigations and then State covering for him is all a coincidence. Strange.

Matt Slick is a great example of people not really worth taking the time to debate, but its always good to watch him debate to get a fresh reminder of what people coming to the table with a gross inability to be honest with themselves, much less anyone else, looks like.

Hmm, now the real question is whether Hunter was used for his connection. I wonder if...Oh. (Time)

But the company, Burisma Holdings, did not disclose at the time the scope of their plans for influencing the U.S. government. Recently released documents show that Biden’s hiring coincided with the launch of a new effort to lobby members of Congress about the role of the company in Ukraine and the country’s quest for energy independence.
David Leiter, a former Senate chief of staff to Secretary of State John Kerry, signed on to work as a lobbyist for Burisma on May 20, 2014, about a week after Biden announced he was joining the company, according to lobbying disclosures filed this month.
Leiter’s involvement in the firm rounds out a power-packed team of politically-connected Americans that also includes a second new board member, Devon Archer, a Democratic bundler and former adviser to John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign. Both Archer and Hunter Biden have worked as business partners with Kerry’s son-in-law, Christopher Heinz, the founding partner of Rosemont Capital, a private-equity company.

I guess Burisma deciding to kick off a lobbying campaign the same year it hired Hunter, and a bunch of other well connected people to the...state Department. Hmm. Almost seems like Kerry's state department was balls deep in with these clearly corrupt companies.

Almost makes you wonder if some people at State have some kind of interest in keeping things over there quiet. But that's okay, because we live in a Republic where its the President that makes those kinds of calls! Otherwise I'd be worried, but its the replacement of power every few years which prevents corruption from crystallizing. Well, unless you have Anti-Democratic people who believe those bureaucrats should be the one giving orders on what's important. Maybe this is just Time Magazine being part of the vast right wing conspiracy though?

Oh wait, no seems like the Times was really concerned to. So weird! Why are all these [URL='https://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/09/world/europe/corruption-ukraine-joe-biden-son-hunter-biden-ties.html?smid=tw-nytimes&smtyp=cur[/URL]

Jesus, Trump tards have their hands in everything! Even the NYT is a mere right wing rag..oh wait, this is from Before Trump. Almost seems like people will abandon their principles to get Trump. Hmm.

Like I dunno people who are just capable of a shred of honesty and still have an ounce of dignity and self awareness. Which is getting rarer in this world.

But its like we have a murder scene. We have video of a guy frog marching another dude out of a car with a knife to his back into a building. Ten minutes later the guy comes out covered in blood holding the knife gets in the car, we get his license plate on camera as he's leaving. Police arrive you've got a body with dozens of stab wounds, blood everywhere. Analysis shows the knife the suspect was carrying matches the cuts on the body. The blood is the victim's blood. Wounds on the hands of the suspect are consistent with holding said blade while conducting violent stabbing motions with it.

And so you're like "Well we got this dude" and all the facts corroborate it and the evidence fits and we have expert testimony confirming everything and video evidence and then you have some group of dipshits that are like

"Well but we don't the suspect did the crime, after all, we didn't get it on camera"
"Well that evidence the knife wounds match the knife isn't really real, the analyst doing the analysis is biased they're no angel they've out to get the suspect"

So forth and so on.

Why would anyone take those people seriously?

I think its a waste of time really trying in this environment to change minds. Its a waste of time. I know I did my due diligence. I wasn't biased, I examined the evidence I listened to the testimony, and I find the witnesses who swore under oath credible for the most part minus the one obvious skeeze. All their testimony corroborates and checks out.

There's no reason to take someone credible who starts citing conspiracy theories, pointing to this other guy who was across the street in a motel room at the time claiming well HE could be the killer, and just blatantly dishonestly declaring "This isn't really evidence because I say so" credibly.

Its like I'm not going to bother trying to have a conversation with Ken Ham about evolution because that dude knows the facts he just flat out rejects them, the methodology by which they are arrived at, the entire operating paradigm of logic and reason from which they spring in favor of his beliefs from an old dumb book he likes.

Its a waste of time. There has to be an honest interlocutor interested in facts and who cares about truth to bother in the first place, and in this case, if they were those things, they wouldn't be here making those sorts of arguments in the first place. The sort where you just close your eyes put your fingers in your ears and go LALALA THATS NOT CREDIBLE SHE DIDNT SAY WHAT SHE SAID HE DIDNT DO WHAT HE DID LIVE IN FRONT OF A LARGE AUDIENCE ALL OF WHOM AGREE IN THEIR TESTIMONIES BLAH BLAH BLAH

Its childish and a waste of all our time.
Didnt read, lol

Every day my friend, I don't think knowledge is weak and pathetic..Only people attempting to protect their ideology from cognitive dissonance think that way, which is also why I read your random links too!

Seriously though, I've been thinking about blogging and starting a youtube channel on this stuff for a while, I'm going to use this thread to organize evidence and collect thoughts. I could use a word document but somehow this feels right. I guess I've become pretty comfortable with this format. Thanks Hodji!

Done for today though! :) As said, I'll ask you to refrain from posting too quickly or I'll just transpose them. Enjoy your debate my friend.
