I absolutely hate her. I am watching the season to see where it goes now but this season better grab me soon. First two episodes were week.

What were the vials that the kid had?

Meh, I thought they were good. The vials are marked "a-xeron injection" and "*enon XT injection", you can't make out the first character of that second one. Probably xenon XT injection which is some testosterone shit. So is Axiron. idk if that meas something or they just used whatever they had around.

I thought the first two episodes were pretty promising. The bathtub scene was disturbing. I knew she wasn't going to do it but that was pretty dark anyway. Carrie is cold as ice so far and Quinn seems to be the only person she gives even a small fuck about. I thought the part where the bald guy got recognized on the street just as Quinn and Carrie were rolling up and somehow 100 dudes with sticks were there to murder him 30 seconds later seemed highly improbable but whatever I guess.

Carrie only cares about Quinn cuz he's (used to be) a weapon she could use, it was especially evident in the last scene at the funeral/church where she's wondering how Quinn could hurt her by not going back, while Quinn just wants to be all up in fattie fat.

The family is really being irresponsible, they should recognize that Carrie is a borderline Psycho, that happens to be really good at her job and is working to protect the US, at least i think they're doing this now to show that they tried. Later on, the sister is probably going to ask Carrie to give up the kid and she'll fully adopt the kid as her own, and Carrie can be the aunt. I hope we don't have big drams over this adoption angle(that i think we're going to go into) cuz the whole family thing is kinda boring, aside from the, murderous intent.

Did anyone notice the new camera style for these episodes? They don't seem to be using any sort of stabilization, and some of the different scenes (Saul's apartment for example) really show off just how wobbly the camera is.

I hope it doesn't stay that way for the whole season. I hate wobbly/shaky cam.

EDIT: Here's the scene I was talking about.

I didn't mind this episode at all. I can't imagine this show ever again lives up to season 1, but both 2 and 3 were so full of 24, cliffhanger, action bullshit. This episode felt like it was setting us up for more political suspense instead. Who knows after just one episodes, but I'm willing to keep going after that premier.

Brody died? Why do I not remember that? I just remember Brody killing that dude in his office, nothing after that. And WTF happened to Brody's family? Where is his hot wife? Can they write her back into the show please!?!?

I would definitely support them putting in a sex scene with Brody's wife weekly. There doesn't have to be any relationship to the plot whatsoever, just put it in there with no explanation or context at all. It will be great.
