I'd say Quinn realised that he can't just throw his phone in the pool and erase the last fifteen or so years he's been working for the CIA. He wrecked the guys at the dinner, he chocked his boss when he got under his skin and he has no other qualifications. Even if he could get a job elsewhere, it would likely be something that is very close to what he is doing right now anyways.

Don't think he loves Carrie, but a 2 minute speedfuck is entirely possible.

I really liked these first three episodes. Not everything was stellar, but it set the scene well.

On complain though: can one really jog to free jazz? More seriously, I have been asking for more jazz for 3 seasons now. Her trumpet should be Holmes' violin and instead we have not seen her play it once!

Annnd I still hate Saul. I cannot stand that guys voice. Its sounds like your father speaking to you in a condescending whisper of a voice... all the time. That and he was being pretty ballsy to the Pakistan Intelligence guy for no reason.

Why is the dead CIA guy being used as the vehicle for this season anyway. Seems a bit strange is all. It isn't like the USA hasn't done shit to the Pakis. Hopefully it plays out well.

This season is off to a nice strong start to me - I was wondering how they would be doing it now with my home boy gone but shits still pretty live and Carrie is as fucked up as ever.

Also i love Claire Danes as Carrie and wouldnt know who else id want to be in the show but her.

If you like Claire Danes, you should check out the HBO Movie "Temple Grandin". It's not the kind of thing that most people would think that they would like but it's a great movie and Claire Danes probably would have gotten an oscar nomination for her performance if the movie had been a theatrical release.

Spies using seduction and sex is probably as old as spying itself. I really like the season so far. The first season was frantic and great. The second season frantic and retarded. I think they did well with the 3rd and this 4th season to use a more deliberate pace and to make sure the plot is a lot more solid.
