My bad, I was speed reading the thread while watching TV, so I read it as a comparison between the twos perceived beauty after reading your post about Smith's part being androgynous.

Didn't you watch GoT? The Night King was made by the Children of the Forest in the Third Age to fight Smaug, and since this is the second age, he is not around yet. Also, he was originally white (before he was turned blue) in GoT, so...

my understand this is centuries after the fall of valyria and that was the decline in magic. supposedly during this time, there are 17-25 dragons and a couple of witches.

Maybe there will be more magic, with an army of faceless men running around murderizing everyone. The men women of the north are all wargs that ride direwolves and see through the eyes of hawks. All the evil Lannisters have magic golden penises (even the women) that they use to hypnotize men and rape them (women are too strong to be hypnotized, obviously).

I guess no one at Comicon and no fluffers, err journalists thought to ask about that. So we wont know until it airs.

i know Gavinmad gonna shit on this post, but i think during this time that Maesters were the gatekeepers of magic and they hated magic because it wasnt their jam so they wanted it stamped out. otherwise nothing changed. nobody can do magic in Westeros, that shit comes from the east, north beyond the wall and perhaps down by Dorne.
closest thing you got to magic was weapons made with Valyrian steel or in the case with Dawn, the metal was made from a meteorite.
