All the cleaning girls at my old job had iPhones. Gens old and cracked, but they still had iPhones.
Luxury product is buying a new iPhone every year or every other year. But plenty of people who aren't rich buy an iPhone as their primary digital device/digital interface to the world.

Why I havent found a price yet to buy back into ABBV:

INTC is the real oddball for me. I see nothing in their earnings justifying a move upwards. I was actually eyeing a move in around $23 or so expecting it to get hammered on those earnings.

My 2c, market is reacting to the fact that US ally currencies are crashing against USD (BoE and BoJ already pivoted) and betting that Fed will be forced to pivot for political reasons. Has absolutely nothing to do with US economy strength/weakness at this point. 100% currency games.

BoJ forced to sell US Treasuries into illiquid market forcing Fed to inject liquidity to absorb selling to avoid price crash. BoJ biggest holder of US Treasuries.

There is no one reason. Lots of variables in play. My thoughts:
Central banks are starting to blink with rate hikes. This turns all eyes to Janet Powell.
Dollar finally starting to take a breather.
Share buyback blackout period ending.
Money flowing into AAPL (121m shares traded up 8%) who is now carrying the indexes.
After earnings fiascos early in the week some shorts got caught expecting AAPL to tank so we have some short covering on a Friday.
VIX down to 26
SPY 100 DMA beginning to show some signs of flattening.
Letter from Liberal Dems to WH telling him to talk peace with Russia.
10-yr yield has dropped from 4.2% to 4.0% in the last 5 days.
