Snagged some NVDA calls. $121 Feb 7th.
Might be too short duration but really playing short term and wanted the leverage and will sell quick if the underlying explode above the 200dma today

edit: 6 contracts at 4.75 so pretty small wager.

I just saw Blazin twitter post on his NVDA calls.

I am playing cautious and waiting to see it get on the other side of its 200D before making a long.

I can't wrap my head around Apple making a 9% move up in a few days on no news.

AMZN is up too, which also benefits from an on-device model. They are probably better positioned for a cloud solution though.

We've moved from the internet of things to the AI of things. Scary.
It will really get scary when we combine the internet of things with the ai of things and the farming of things.

IAIEIO Of Things is the next money vector.

You're not running your personal AGI-level AI model on your HomePod, but running one on a hypothetical M6 or M7 Ultra with 512GB of unified memory is very possible in the next 5 years. Apple has the best chip architecture to deliver that kind of power to end-users who want it.

But most people won't want to do that. It's the same problem with crypto. Sure, everyone could be their own bank now... >90% of people do not want to be their own bank.

The basic premise that integrators stand the most to benefit from cheaper AI is a good one though, which is again why I feel companies like CRM are a good place to be.

I'm close to break even on NVDA and may exit at that point. To not panic with a 20% decline and work it to even a day later is probably a win worth notching.

Ah yes I remember 8/5/24 like it was yesterday, I made a large post full of fundamental analysis, laying out the pros and cons, explaining my goals and timeframes. Let me go get it.

You just piggybacked on my 8/2 purchase of AMZN. Admit it.

Seriously though, my only regret is timing it at the bottom and never really saw an opportunity to fill out the position after it bounced. Its like a half position for me.

AMZN breached its 200-DMA. Took a starter position at $164.

Went back into OXY at $57.50. Strictly a Warren Buffet piggyback.

Edit: wrote another put on NVDA. DCA the premium to $1.05

Question: Do you guys think buying 100 TSLA is a smart move for selling calls? I'm fairly experienced when it comes to selling calls, but 100 shares of TSLA is probably half my account value right now. Seems like just a few good weeks would net me a fair bit of premium to negate that but I'm curious if there are better options.

I say TSLA because premiums are very solid.
