I bought it bc you guys recommended it! But seriously, I've been watching youtube vids about SPACs all day.

One of the biggest disadvantages to SPACs seems to be that the recent influx of SPACs is making it harder for them to pair with good acquisitions. I.e. there are more SPACs than there are good companies looking for a SPAC.

Based on that, what you guys said about who the SPAC is managed by seems super important. Not just that a SPAC has a competent manager, but maybe someone with name recognition who could help bring attention to the SPAC.

BTNB is early days (i.e. good time to get in), and Peter Thiel is involved, so seemed reasonably safe with big potential upside.
Pretty much dead on. There are guys grinding out SPACs who want thier founders cut and will merge with a piece of shit if it means they get their money versus having to give the money back. The Founders are key really. I am a bit more... discerning, than my buddy Fogel Fogel . :) I want a girl who is at least an 8 before I give her my cash. Fogel wants one who is at least... breathing.

I wish I had more time to dick around on the stock market then waste my time coding for money.
One advantage of entrepreneurship. I never yell at myself for having the trade screen open on my computer all day.

thiel isn't actually involved

one of his investment devices is - I bet if he was asked right now what BTNB is he'd have no idea. That said, i'm in BTNB and have high hopes.

Not a fair comparison. I want to at least fuck within the first month unlike some traditional boomers around here.

That depends entirely on the value of your time compared your absolute expected returns trading. Unless you've got a 6+ figure trading portfolio and really know what you're doing you're likely better off working for money, living modestly, and indexing saving as opposed to displacing earned income with time spent making a superficially high percentage return off a small platform (if you can even manage to succeed at that).

When I bought AMC for $4 per share I just bought a grand worth, so I have a partial share at 0.273 left. I’m not sure how to get rid of it, fidelity won’t let me sell a partial share. I’ve never had that problem before, must be something to do with AMC itself? Sanrith Descartes Sanrith Descartes how do I cash in this $5, I’ve never seen this on fidelity, have you?

I just want it off my list.

fidelity will auto sell partial shares for you, give it a day or two.

Its a wonky part of their system. ATP wont let you trade those partials but you can go on the app and "sell all shares" and that will get rid of the fractional if you dont want to wait for it to suto dump it when the transaction settles.
