Thanks for this example hmmm, I'm going to look into this. Almost seems a no brainer. Seems like the stock price and its premium is dropping a lot though, already to 1.77. What a red day, its not inconvievable that my OSTK will get under strike by tomorrows close, along with NVIDIA staying safe.

What exactly is the command to 'close' this NVIDIA covered call? trade it and select "sell to close"?
"Buy to close"

keep in mind the volatility is enormous next week in pricing because of earnings.

Help. I’m bleeding out. If I take a 30k loan and pump it into amc I should be fine and recover?

Only if you can get a $30k payday loan from Indians.

Speaking strict from my own personal experience, days like today are good days to look at your entire portfolio and examine the risk on each investment and see if you are still comfortable with all your positions.

And of course, the 2 stocks I have been stalking are both green today. fuckers.

All my fun money securities are near-NAV SPACs, come at me bro!

Also I just bought another 100 ounce silver bar.

I've lost $139 since I put $1350 into the market several weeks ago.

Me thinks I should just stick to my Roth and 401k.

Nobody started out as Warren Buffet in the first couple weeks. We all lost money when we first started learning.

Buy SPACs sub $11. Wait, profit. It's really mindless, you're doing fine if you've only lost $139.

Most of that loss is from the brokerages who halted buying of GME and me not immediately getting out.

One of you smart margin guys explain this to me.

All margin collateral is not equal. More volatile positions provide less buying power. This is most common with leveraged ETFs, this note is simply stating that PTSH is being moved to a more volatile basket which will restrict how extended on margin an account can be.

Ahh, so if you are using PSTH as collateral its value is being lowered due to thoughts of increased volatility.
