On the dip those $605 calls could have been closed for about 60 cents. Did you jump on it?

No, at this point I will be happy to keep the full amount of the original premium (if they don't get called away tomorrow) or the +18ish percent rate of return on the stock if they do get called away tomorrow.

I've lost $139 since I put $1350 into the market several weeks ago.

Me thinks I should just stick to my Roth and 401k.
Just keep adding $50 a week or something. The low days/weeks/months are when you buy things. Then when it goes back up, it’s surprising how fast it rises.

It isn't like buying it at market open at $26 is a bad idea.

Looks like markets might swing green today on Yellen talking about adding 3 trillion to stimulus this year

Who was the one that was being discussed here before, TRIT? I remember the conversations but not the tickers.

Trit is software. MP is rare earths but I think it's too high at 40, but in today's market who knows. I also own some NAK, WWR, and TLGRF, but two of those are more focused on graphite/graphene

There is also Lynus, the biggest producer outside of China that is opening up some sort of plant in Texas or something at the u.s. governments behalf.

Yeah you'll notice buying power changes based on what you hold in the account, it's highest when holding cash. More volatile stuff less so, some positions are not marginable at all. (IPOs penny stocks OTC etc.)

This must be what happened to me post GME. I had plenty of margin in reserve then suddenly it shrank and lead to margin calls. I have so many MEME stocks in my main trading account that they must of recalculated and tightened things up.

MP is up 7% pre-market trading at $45. I sort of regret letting this one go but on the other hand we havent seen earnings yet. I just cant fathom paying $45 for this stock.

My BFLY (recently merged spac i held through merger) is pushing 30, (and I sold 30 strike CC on it). Despite leaving some money on the table with CCs over time, i'm growing more found of them. Its a psychological thing, you set it for a strike where you are happy selling it at and then its out of your hands. No nail biting as it rises wondering if "now is the time to sell".

Everyone says "have a plan before you buy a stock", and that is true. CCs force you to take emotion out of the picture so it does not sabotage your plan.
