They can afford to fuck everyone over for 10 years, and they'll probably just make even more money overall if they do it, if lose a few friends on the way. The US isnt in the position it once was to order them around either. They have a way stronger hand than they did in the 70s even with the the US being fairly energy independent compared to then.

I am back in it. Bought it down at the summer low. I like it long term. Im up about 20% so far.

In fairness, the CEOs job is always to credibly misdirect investors with narrative reasons why the numbers they are showing aren't the "full picture". It's a fun little mini game, like dumping months of planned slow drip dev work into a single D4 patch to spike MAUs so they can claim the game is still a massive success.
