I did the same. I moved everything into VTSAX yesterday. Should be even better in the single day since the market declined in the last hour. But I moved to VTSAX because I intend to play long now.

I think if we have solid to good inflation numbers tomorrow and Trump makes real headway in getting China to bend the knee this will have legs.

Some of the influential names in investing have been speaking against the policy for a few days now, partly because of that. It's also making it extremely difficult for small businesses to survive.

That was someone else I think, he said earlier in the week that he doesn't short anything.



There's other financial people that have said the same thing (Peter Schiff has been talking about the escalating debt and offshoring for decades at this point), I found the discussion below worth watching too.
There's a lot of blind hate/support going on at the moment. You can support the idea behind the tariffs but not the implementation.

Near the lows he went on cnbc and cried acting hysterical , his “hell is coming” speech . His fear pushed market even lower
