This auto played while doing laundry.

A little better remembering everything but still filled with shit I don't care about. Pretty much only care to watch anything with Omni and Alien

Honestly the show really feels the lack of Omni-Man. I’m 80% less interested in anything happening if he’s not involved at least indirectly.

This season could have trimmed some of the side arc stuff from the comics and gotten to the Invincible War stuff sooner and not lost much. Hopefully the final 2 episodes this season are good.

I'm hoping they push forward, I think theyre trying to build up caring for character and it's not working

Even people who never read the comics picked up on the death flags they were waving for one character a couple episodes ago.

If I recall, they get back to the Viltrumite plot after the Invincible War story plays out, so that means starting next season we should see the Viltrumite stuff and Omni-man feature more heavily

I couldn't wait, I went out a while back and bought all the compendiums and read the whole thing. Best comic I ever read. No buyers remorse at all, loved every bit of it.
have you ever read Planetary?

Planetary, Wildcats v2, and The Authority are a good read. yeah. Planetary is a love letter to comics, and movies. Warren Ellis's opus. singularly pretty well loved.
The Authority is a precursor to modern comics, movies.

https://readcomiconline.li/Comic/Planetary has a definitive start-middle and end.

Ellis got the ok to write Stormwatch for wildstorm. He proceed to kill the entire team off, by Aliens. like, literally Stormwatch/Aliens crossover. canon. The Authority then launches from the ashes.
wildcats v2. was very solid. v3 had some interesting ideas it explored. not as well liked.
ellis left authority and Mark Millar took over. different, but interesting in its own way. more crude/juvenile millar of this period. same time as Wanted. before kickass. then later authority peters out a bit.

Wildcats and Authority in DC universe should never be spoken of.

all star superman is of course also a must read. also short with a start middle and end.

also, was that the full season, or is there a few more coming? that was a weak season end if it was it.

pacing. idk. its a problem. the comic spends way more time on the side characters, and characters in general. theres too many to do in the animations... but at the same time, when you skip all that, you don't care for the characters as much. Especially here, were all the other superheroes never even get names. all the reoccurring characters never show up, or anything.

Not actually bad, but time travel as a story element is so played out and they went to that well three fucking times (as well as multiverse bullshit). Then they went the CW route of making a bunch of the focus on teen drama. Looks like they at least got the memo on Amber, Fag Boy, and woke bullshit because that got all got dialed back a bunch. But the turf wars of the crime syndicate are completely garbage waste of time, when you have the looming Viltrimite and Invincible Wars arcs clearly coming. They need someone on their writing team that knows how to trim bullshit out and pace things better.

Invincible War went by pretty quick, but at least we're now getting to the Viltrum stuff again

Fight with Conquest may have been the single greatest part of the entire comic series so I hope they do it well on the show!

That arc seemed abrupt.

I also didn't like how many Invincibles were killed. If some randos we've never met can take down an Invincible, it weakens Mark / other Viltrumites, even if you handwave that he's the only Mark in the multiverse that thought about training.

Also, the mummy gals have been stuck in the tomb since the Season 2 finale? Wasn't that months and months ago in the show's timeline?

Ya, it's been a long ass time since those women were stuck in that tomb. Magic!

As for a lot of the Marks dying, could probably just chalk that up to them not being pushed too much to improve themselves in some instances or not taking the threat seriously. Kind of like when you're really good in a PVP game and to make it not boring, you do stupid shit. Then the other person takes advantage of that and beats you before you have a chance to adjust.

ghost semen is full of protein

amazing episode, i had no idea what to expect and it kept surprising me with what happened. Who are the robot-goons in the dimension-room of Angstrom's? That whole thing seemed like super bad news for the future.

While I still really kinda hate Mark for how he constantly does stupid things I appreciate the show taking the time showing us his constant fuckups, hopefully it keeps building up to him becoming smarter.

also sad at the big apparent perma-death, that was a great great character and voice actor and I will miss ~ Rex ~ a lot. It was awesome seeing so many superheroes although I have no fucking idea who most of them are
