Don't need to assume, they confirmed that at the end of season 2. The original Dupli-kate was chilling out in a remote cabin in the mountains.

DupliKate 0 showed up at Immortal's cabin in the last episode of Season 2. I know Season 2 was kinda forgettable, but sheesh.

I couldn't wait, I went out a while back and bought all the compendiums and read the whole thing. Best comic I ever read. No buyers remorse at all, loved every bit of it.

watched all 3 seasons over the last two weeks including the 3 new episodes from season 3. I skipped season 2 when it dropped since the half release shit was annoying.

The show is just ok, the first 2 seasons have a lot of bullshit that is teen-drama-annoying and goes nowhere, I get why some of its there to make "this is why this works now" for future arcs but it just wasn't interesting on screen at all.

Season 3 so far is a lot better, as we build up to a Vultrimite climax which is honestly the only interesting aspect of the show. Its not its fault and its not trying to really be a story in the same space but its hard not to see a lot of story arcs and say The Boys did it way better. I honestly still don't really care what happens to any character other than Omni Man.

This and The Boys do share one big flaw, people with plot armor who don't die or have a fake death. it makes every new "death" less believable.

man, the first half of the 4th episode this season was kind of lame, but then the 2nd half came out swinging for the fences.

Had to force myself to finish the first few episodes that released, gonna wait til the entire season airs and word of mouth on quality.

2nd season was mostly bad this show gets worse every season so far

I love how Michael Dorn plays battlebeast like he is an insane, blood thirsty Worf

As for the show, one could make the argument that being too true to the comics can also backfire a bit. There are a lot of side arcs in the comic outside the “main plot” of the Viltrumites, so it can slow things down a bit (even if there is payoff later). They could benefit by trimming a bit.

Like the first half of this episode and the time travel stuff pays off later, but literally not until the end of the comic series for the most part

In any event, outside a few pacing issues, I have mostly liked this season so far

Episode 4 turned it around, great episode. I was going to be pissed if they teased BB and ended the episode there. Also who the fuck captured BB, he's arguably the strongest character in the comics
