I think a lot of us saw this coming. Dude was not stable. It's probably easy to say that this happened because of transgender reasons... I.e., all the jokes that went pretty far at his expense about the sex change... But his attitudes and behavior issues had nothing to do with gender identity.

I never spoke with our about him before now so I'm pretty meh about the whole thing. That being said, its still sad that he couldn't get past his issues

Proof other than a Facebook post? While I didn't care for the guy I still feel bad he was messed up enough to think death was his only option.... That said, I've seen to many people on the Internet kill themselves or have cancer or whatever to take a Facebook post as face value anymore.

She'd been mentioning it on IRC last night, but it was so nonchalant and joking that I didn't take it seriously; it wasn't really anything out of the norm. She'd been doing a lot better lately, it seemed. The past couple of weeks, she was so much happier sounding and energetic. Turns out it was because she'd set a date. I didn't really get along with her much, but I really wish I'd have talked to her last night, even though her mind had long been made up. One of the last things she said to us was wishing me luck at my career fair today. Feels bad, man.

I'd be pissed if this was a hoax. I've known too many people give up on life (one is too many, but if you've been in the military, chances are you've known more than just one). I almost did many years ago. I'm glad I didn't.

It did this time, but that type of round could have just easily left him brain dead Even more so than he already was.

And if he thought life sucked already, he could have lived another several decades as a tranny vegetable.
