Zimmerman claimed the gun was holstered on his waist in the back of the hip, so kinda above his butt check...not at the side or the front or the direct back. If he was on the ground as he claimed, with Martin straddling him with his knees up to his arm pits (meaning Martin's legs ran along his sides down past Zimmerman's waist as Zimmerman was shorter than Martin) as Zimmerman claimed, and while straddling him, Martin had one hand covering his mouth and pinching his nose and the other hand pummeling him when Zimmerman claimed not only did at that same time Martin reach for his gun (so now he had three hands?), which was not visible and beneath him, but that Zimmerman then grabbed the gun and shot him.
The bullet entry was defined by all experts as being at a 90 degree angle, yet Martin's clothing was 2 to 4 inches from the point of the gun when it was fired. This means that if in fact Zimmerman was on the ground, Martin had to be leaning back and was in an upright position for that 90 degree angle if the gun was shot from the hip to get that angle, but that doesn't explain the 2 to 4 inches from the clothing where the bullet impacted unless Zimmerman's arm was somewhat raised, which in that case, Martin had to be leaning farther back to maintain both the 90 degree angle bullet entry and the 2 to 4 inches from Martins clothing when the gun was fired. What Zimmerman said happened doesn't fit the forensics of the 90 degree angle of bullet entry and the 2 to 4 inches from Martin's clothing when the gun was fired. In fact, if Zimmerman was on the bottom, it sure looks like Martin leaning back in moving to get away. If someone is trying to get away, why would you fire your weapon?
Zimmerman also claims that after he shot Zimmerman he pushed Martin away and then pinned down Martin's arms with both hands because he did not know he actually shot him. He also claimed he never moved the body, yet the body was found by the police face down with Martins arms underneath. How does the arms get beneath the body if Zimmerman had them pinned down with both his hands?
Also, according to Zimmerman, he never once tried to defend himself. Why? He was afraid yet still got out of his car. Why? Well, he said he needed to get the name of the street he was on...in a neighborhood he lived in for 4 years, walked his dog regularly in and had only THREE streets. BTW, in the same interview with the cop he told he got out of the car to get the street name because he did not know what it was and before he could do that is when Martin allegedly jumped him--he later rattled off that street name without hesitation. If I was afraid and did not know the street name...I would turn my car around and go back to the street sign to see it. But instead, he got out of the car so that he could follow Martin which he denied later on but told the dispatcher he was "going in the same direction" as Martin after the dispatcher said he did not need to follow the alleged suspect.
