Bro, you were the one who said that statement meets the DEFINITION of racism. You did. Actually you said it meets two of them. Just because there is no justification for saying something that you will accept does not mean you can arbitrarily assign labels to it. There is no hatred expressed in that statement, there is no assertion of a philosophy or methodology or doctrine. It can mean anything the person who says it intends. Regardless of how stupid the statement is, it does not meet the criteria of the definition that YOU posted. It is not racism. Discrimination? Ignorance? Yes. Racism? No.
"It can mean anything the person who says it intends." Really? So it can mean, like, "Nice weather we're having", or maybe "Rabbits are unable to break wind and can get sick or die from eating foods that give them gas"? Can "American Inventors gonna Kang" mean those things? Give me a fucking break. What is it you don't understand about context? Here, I'll paraphrase it for you: "Fucking blacks. Amirite, guys?" Guess what? That's saying another race is inferior to yours. There is absolutely hatred in that comment. It's not "Oh, you black guys! Always up to your mischief! C'mere, you... (friendly head rubbing)". What do you think you're defending here? Again, if you're so convinced I'm misinterpreting the statement, please clear it up for me. Tell me what it really means so I can understand how it's not racist.

I see someone say that, 9/10 times they are either joking or implicitly talking about a subset of the black population. I don't think I have ever seen someone say that, or something similar, and be talking explicitly about a doctrine they subscribe to or hatred they intend to express. All that shit you wrote here? It happens in your head, not the person saying it. I'm not defending anything except the English motherfucking language. Words have meanings. You are using this one incorrectly. It isn't the end of the world to just say "Whatever, I am wrong occasionally." Has anyone ever told you that?

Chaos, if someone says "Kangs gonna Kang" and "Fuckin blacks. Amirite, guys?" shouldn't the default assumption be that its a racist statement?

I assume that they are joking and have a horrible sense of humor. And you know as well as I do that the vast majority of the time, especially here, that is true. Do you really think that people say that shit intending to convey their heartfelt doctrine to you?

Ah, so you're saying when someone says "American Inventors gonna Kang", I'm missing the implied asterisk that continues:
* I am using this historically charged hate-filled word to refer to a subset of the black population that I happen to have a problem with and not black people as a whole. This snarky de-humanizing remark should not be interpreted as representative of any ill-will towards the "good" black people.

So apparently nine times out of ten you are able to put that asterisk there and not see that as a racist comment. How about when Trollface makes a comment like that? He's already admitted he's a racist. Should I assume that asterisk also exists in his clearly racist comments? Why, in a discussion about race issues, should I give someone who says "American Inventors gonna Kang" the benefit of the doubt and assume they are either kidding (which doesn't excuse a remark that stupid, as there is no actual humor there) or only talking about the shitty black people? There are ways to make that point without using overtly racist language, especially when doing so endorses and normalizes the casual use of said language. We're all pretty damned fluent in English here, there's no real reason to use racist statements to communicate supposedly non-racist ideas. Well, except the whole "laughing at those inferior to you with your fellow internet jocks who won't call you on indulging in a little hate speech now and then".

Here's a tip for future morons: If you don't want your post to be interpreted as racist, don't use a racist remark to communicate a non-racist idea. It makes you look like a fucking racist.

PS: Unlike 99% of the posters on this board, I have zero problem admitting when I'm wrong. My posting history shows this.

I tend to think that if someone is going to say "Niggs gonna Kang" or "Fuckin blacks. Amirite guys" or "Oshi here comes another Chimpout" that those people are racist baring me knowing some other thing about their history. I mean, why wouldn't I? I would never say that shit myself because they are clearly racist statements that attempt to categorize all blacks as thugs, jerks or apes. Also, even if you assume that they are for the most part joking, I still think it is bad because it gives cover and legitimacy to the people that are saying that shit because they really are racists.

So someone says something, you make a bunch of follow-on assumptions to fit this mental picture you have. You could have just said that rather than post a bunch of TL;DR shit yet again. I never said it was good, it just isn't racism. Racism is an action, racism, is hiring practices or social injustice or our legal system in it's apparently natural state, racism isn't a bunch of retards telling stupid jokes because they are too sheltered to understand that they aren't being edgy or funny.

Sure, this is just the internet. Maybe in the real world you are an outstanding citizen and rescue families from flipped over vehicles. However, in this world of the internet, you claim to be a racist, you think racism isn't bad and you make racial slurs. So in this world, I think I am justified in thinking you are a racist.

I am not saying racism isn't bad nor is it good.I want to think objectively. So when I say racism , I mean that as a principle which underlies both features--good and bad (Wiki: certain attributes which make that group as a whole less desirable, more desirable, inferior, or superior). I am claiming that it is more complicated than just negative aspects which you are describing. I do not think that it can be so easily described by, "racism bad ." Because I also face, at first hand, a different kind of racial stereotypes, assumptions and perhaps barrier of sort (could be, I am not sure. However, I am not naive enough to think that assumptions, stereotypes, and racial assumptions does not affect me) that I may not be aware of since I am of a different ethnicity. I went through this stage when I was a teen. I more or so have accepted it as part of the hard mode game or easy mode game. It differs for different people and their ability, as well as their ethnicity. There is no singular model to describe people's experience. I think that the term needs to be clarified here. I do not like racial discrimination or institutional discrimination. I think that racial discrimination falls under the line of racism as a whole. This is what I mean.

I do not claim to be racist. None of us are claiming to be racist. We only say racial joke. That's it. I've been around different places where racism is completely unapologetic and angry. That shit is scary as fuck. In context, that's fucking insane and it does perpetuate more racism because the entire purpose of their existence is for that very reason--to hate black people.
And I did not disagree when the last thread got rickshawed. I completely agreed with the mod decision. It was getting out of hand.

Anyhow, this is a great venue for stating something so taboo and wrong in real life. THAT'S what makes it so funny, for me at least, because such freedom does not exist in real life. Until the taboo goes away, shit will remain funny to me.

So in this world, I think I am justified in thinking you are a racist.
But I am not, so what does that make you?

EDIT: I should clarify. We are all racist or at least share a similar patterns of mindset in some way (in-group mentality). So when I say I am not racist, I am saying that I do not hate black people. I was probably more racist when I hated racists or any thing that resembled racism as bad thing or so I THOUGHT was a bad thing.

No bro, I am not going to try and prove to you that racism is bad. Sorry, that was your parents job.
that's bullshit show me hard evidence political correctness works to improve the condition of black peoples lives as a whole or i'll continue to think it's garbage political leverage and naive misguidedness.

It should be easy it's been around for 40 years there should be all kinds of charts showing direct causal relationships.

Dude, you'rethe one making follow-on assumptions. "Ah! He must be kidding. Surely he doesn't mean that, right?"
I'll say it again: Trollface has admitted to being a racist. He's proud of it. When he writes an explicitly racist remark in the middle of a discussion about race, it looks exactly the same as anyone else's explicitly racist remarks. What the hell extra information do I have to tell me these other people making racist remarks aren't racist? You're the one adding non-explicit interpretations to suit the mental picture you have. I'm just reading the fucking words within the context they're delivered.

And I'm sorry, I must disagree with you. A bunch of retards telling stupid jokes about American Inventors is absolutely racism. I do appreciate that you are acknowledging that they are neither edgy nor funny. Something like that might be worth saying in response to such a comment, but then you'd be making yourself the odd man out and therefore the target of group ridicule and "liberal useful idiot" remarks. Nobody wants that, right?

Isn't Trollface the guy who said something like "I can't believe the names these people give their kids, it's like their trying to make my job easier so I can throw away their application"? I'm not sure it was him and it was quite a bit ago but one thing I can be certain of, no RRP was given for that, nor a single fuck by the mods here because apparently all racist comments are just jokes and not intended to be racist nor are the people saying them racist.....

And yet, I did, and it was good advice. Advice you should have followed.

There really isn't any difference between what you're doing and what Numbers did, which is to say, come into the thread, and shit it up by race baiting and attacking every person on this forum by declaring them racist simply because you said so and no matter what they say or do they're racist because you said so so that's the way it is.

Its a shit argument from a shit poster that isn't worth replying to in any real substantive way except to point out how fucking infantile you are.

Added: I'm seeing that this thread really hasn't been about anything except Tanoomba masturbating furiously to his own self righteousness for at least the past 20 pages, and that equates to at least the past three to four days.

Why isn't this rickshawed? Seriously.

Except your not because you aren't proving shit, you are making emphatic statements, this is racist, you are racist with no ability to connect how it ruins anyone life in any reasonable manner. prove it without saying the emphatic, well that's racist because I say it is and it's harmful because I say so. You will find it hard to do that.

how does that help black people tanoomba empirically, what's the good you are doing. show me some charts or something, connect the dots to where if I didn't say American Inventor jim in this sentence that a black person is somehow better off.
