It is quite evident that there are handful of racist people who have posted in this thread, most of them failing to realize they are racist. If you can't figure out who they are, chances are you one of them. This shit reminds me of when Merlin was siding with Norton's character from American history X about the dinner table conversation as a reason to why he was not racist, racism so ingrained he can't understand why he is racist.

Words don't have random meanings. We all learn how to interpret them based on context from a very young age. If you want to tell me I'm misinterpreting "American Inventors gonna Kang", feel free to tell me what actual meaning I should be deriving. Even if, by some bizarre warping of time-space and rational thought, I'm WAY OFF on my description of that phrase, it's a fucking stupid thing to say that can clearly easily be interpreted the way I did, even if this interpretation was wrong (Protip: It wasn't). Saying "It's a joke haha so it's not racist you retard" is fucking stupid. As I said, there is no justification for uttering such a phrase in the context I've described where it ceases to become racist. I don't have to be a mind reader for that. I challenge you to tell me otherwise.

Of course I judge people on how they look, everybody does. What I don't do is make stupid racist comments to try to impress my internet jock friends. Nobody wants to get mugged or attacked, and we will take precautions to prevent these events from happening. But saying "American Inventors gonna Kang" has nothing to do with that. That's just normalizing casual racism for the sake of a (very) cheap laugh. I really wish everyone would stop extrapolating things I'm not saying from the very simple things I am saying. Thatwouldbe a utopia, I suppose.
