The panhandle sure, but until pretty recently almost the entire state was a giant swamp. Cotton don't grow in no swamps now, ya hear? Florida in the 19th century might as well have still been Indian land for all the good it did us to conquer it.

Florida is a southern state mostly by virtue of simple geogrpahy.

Funny enough, in the Dixie and Southern statistics test, Florida and Texas scored low. Mainly because of how the Dixie boom affected them (Or didn't.) and their history in the slave trade and because Yankees chose those two locations to carpet bag to more prevalently, while skipping over the shit hole that is Kentucky. So Kentucky has been growing "more south" while those two states have been diminishing and adopting their own cultural mix.

Kentucky can't grow "more South" because they were never a part of it to begin with. You can't become more of something you're not.

Notice how the only argument you have is this circular appeal to culture? Yeah, its why you're wrong.

Hodj, I'm talking to a grown up now. You've gotten your attention, that's all I can give you for today.

Your tacit admission of defeat, for about the third time, is accepted. As usual.

Just leave the trophy in the bowl by the door.

I direct you to Danthe's law.

http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Danth's_Law

As an internet discussion grows and grows, it's often tempting to declare victory and move on, especially if you've rammed the point home too many times and your opponent just ignores everything you say. In this case, declaring victory and moving on may be legitimate and excusable.

Unfortunately, the majority of the time, declaring victory is just spin: a last desperate attempt to trick people into believing you came out on top (providing that they don't actually go and read the discussion, of course). Sometimes, the individuals declaring victory may well be convinced that they're right; often they'll have gone into the discussion knowing that they're right and with no possible option that they might be wrong. When combined with the ability to expel someone from the discussion, Danth's Law takes on a more sinister tone - indicating that a group or individual can only defend themselves on their own terms, through the medium of extreme deceit.

Enjoy your complete butt devastation though.
I can't give you attention, but you can argue with yourself. God knows you've left enough logical fallacies, hypocritical statements and dumb assessments to keep it up forever.

Its not ad naseum when you're actually arguing with multiple people and have to keep retreading territory you already went over before. The ad naseum is the group of people constantly regurgitating bad talking points already refuted when they run out of their list of arguments to make.

I have one premise, that has yet to be refuted.

Kentucky is a northern state because it fought for the union in the civil war.

^^ see also the Kentucky poll thread where people keep repeating the already worn out and refuted cultural arguments for the 100th time. That's an ad naseum fallacy.
