I don't know about isoboxer but win eq has always been my staple. Can make a bind to cycle thru your eq sessions which makes 3 boxing on one monitor much easier.

Clawed Knuckle Ringdropped commonly by Najena does as well, I got a couple while I camped the zone for Jboots and Flowing Black Robe. And it's all/all.

I really hate the raiding BS in P99. I'm not investing huge chunks of time to EQ, even though it'd be fun to do the raid guys there in a 1999 setting. My guess is the situation there will go back to mostly normal in a month or so. Back on tangent, how tough is it to group here? I haven't boxed in years, which was part of the appeal of P99. I really stopped that after DAOC as I wasn't enjoying playing 3 characters at once. I wouldn't mind doing it to level, but I like to play during the day with one of my 2 monitors set on my work stuff. How feasible is it to multibox with one monitor?

Grouping is off and on depending on your level range and desired zone. You can always "/who all 30 35" for example to display all non-anon players in a level range and ask if they want X class to join them, I got a few groups that way. Other than that I mostl solo'd a mage to 50 as my first char. With a few groups in Unrest, SolB, Lguk and OoT in the 20s, 30s and 40s when I saw the opportunity.

As other have said, the grouping scene is getting better with more TFO and higher server population in general.

So jboots drop in Najena? Been needing a pair but didn't want to deal with AC since I wasn't sure if it was coded right.

Najena was their original drop spot before they put in the AC questline. On a lower pop server like this one, it's magical.

So manastones and guises drop too?

Manastone and Guises come from the Classic Casino in the EC tunnel.

Jboots either drop from Delzna or from the quested ring dropped by AC in OoT. AC is easy to spawn from "a cyclops" on the island with the mage tower.

Drelzna is doable 30+ solo, but can be a pain to get the key you need for her room, it's NO RENT, and she is a necro along with the trash mobs in her room which can Fear you across the zone. I got it from her @ 30 duoing with another player.

There are a series of keys to get in the zone, and some you keep forever. You can get to a point where you only have to kill Rathyl and get that key to Drelzna. Last night was bad luck on pops for me, but usually she dropped jboots each kill.

Productive morning. Got pegasus cloaks for like everyone who was online, inny/naggy/vox. Woo woo!

Eight cloaks back to back. Broken spawns are fun.

It was a good push, but I could "only" manage to hit 57 before double XP ending and the server going down for hardware updates.

This is a fun little Emu. More people should give it a try! Nice lightweight EQ classic experience.

Fiery Avenger and Valorium Armor. Sadly I am 60, but it's a pretty picture. Should have the FD as soon as my hate and hole visits are successful. I think it's server first, but paladins are uncommon and velious is available.

Edit - added Fiery Defender. Gimp seems to think the black gorget area is void of information, and I didnt catch that in the first image. I fixed it in the FD pic. I was going to turn on shadows for the pic, but gimp considers the darkness to be partially transparent rather than dark. g-fucking-g gimp?

Having your epic is required to perform the custom class quests in Velious to my understanding. So when I get Velious access I'll be able to see what custom weirdness they added for the class.




Hate and Hole trips went smoothly, but Hole has revamp HP and items like +stats +hp gear. I'm going to ask the devs to knock that shit off. CoM/HS/Chardok/The Hole all have some revamp components. All but CoM suffer from really rapey atk values, and thick HP, and they all drop their revamp +stat +hp gear that wasn't original. It's a pretty big shift from the way the rest of classic and kunark are. Droga isn't in the game (memory leak?), but I suspect Nurga will be revamp version too. I'd rather all these areas be 99% original, and the weird loot moved to custom zones like their pocket freeport.

Looks great Agraza! I always liked the flames on the FA better than the FD anyhow!
