Hrm, they why are people running the Velious casino over Luclin? Seems like Luclin would have higher end items? Was SoD still BIS even through Luclin?

SoD and BoC are pretty damn powerful items. The other factor is that Luclin Casino costs more per roll. I believe its 100p where Velious is only 75p. I have yet to see a single item linked from the Luclin Casino.

Another factor to consider is that most Casino items differ in that they are Attuneable. SoD / BoC from the raid mobs should be freely tradeable like Live. There are very few exceptions like the Manastone.

Ssra has some superior aggro weapons, Bloodfrenzy from Cursed Cycle and Hategiver from Xerkizh the Creator.

I doubt (read: hope) they are in the casino though. All major velious raids were done with characters already wielding SoD ' s and BoC's so it sort of takes away from the challenge when the server first AoW kill is done with a raid full of people using his signature drop...

Agreed Zaide. Honestly you should have to be flagged for the next expansion before you can use the casino of the previous. Luclin flag for Velious casino, Velious flag for Kunark casino, etc. Too late now though I guess, doubt Bront is gonna pull all the SoD/BoC's acquired from there.

FYI, for those who didnt catch it: GMs have said to keep an eye out for "celebrations" of some sort this weekend in response to getting Green Status.

Hopefully something fun. I'd like to get a custom title!

1) Must have an above average population count.
2) Must have contributed in some form, whether physically or emotionally, to positively influence EQEmulator.

These are just guidelines... some servers are promoted because of their seniority alone, some are promoted because they have made a difference alone, and some just have a large playercount and it'd be stupid to exclude them.

That being said, there's some ways to make sure you don't get on green/legends... faking player counts, promoting hatred in the community, and causing general disturbances in any other major server is an acceptable reason for a demotion.

What's the deal with EQTitan and those other 100+ pop servers not on the list? Some old drama?

EQTitan is a fork of the open-source PEQ database and does not contribute back to the PEQ project. Therefore they are not granted green status on that notion alone. They are comprised of old PEQ players who disagreed with a GM dispute a few years back, and would rather put the integrity of themselves ahead of the project's end goals.

If that mentality changed and they contributed the work they did, that would no longer be an issue.

P1999 differs from this because 1) Rogean contributes to EQEmulator and 2) They do not use PEQ as a base.

I just started using Underfoot Freq UI fromhttp://mqemulator.net/downloads.php#

It has some nice features like telling you exact mob level and class when you target, direction of target (N, S, E, W), as well as built in Health of Targets Target (MQ required for this info).
