I've yet to see a reviewer have the balls to even bring up the concerns. Like, ok, sure, if you like the game, just bringing that shit up, perpetuates it. soulash2, I refuse to even talk about the nonsense, when talking about the game. let it die, talk about the game. if everyone brings it up, every time they talk about it.. it will never die. But still, I feel like it needs to be addressed at least once here.

Arch is going to be playing later today. might get a shitlords opinion there. Although, who knows how long it takes to get to the gay shit.
Also, arch can be an acquired taste. often the best thing, is just that he's terrible at games. makes terrible builds, etc.

My understanding is the scene in question is some side quest, which means you could skip it if it really bothered you. Or just move through it like you had to with similar scenes in Spartacus

i'd be annoyed if i can't murder the guy basically. i don't mind when games have a little gay wedged in here and there, but i should also be able to kill, ostracize etc the character. that was pinnacle issue with new dragon ages retardation, hell dawntrail too. it made a retarded character the focus, which you coudld'nt abandon or murder.

so if this quest is a side quest, but you can't react disgusted to the character. or kick them out. or reject them wholey and make them feel awful, then there goes the realism for the setting.

that's good. i'd thought i read that he was a "key character" and you could not harm him. we'll know soon based on the youtube vidya i suppose.

I am a couple hours in on ps5 and aside from a weird lighting glitch where the lighting acts like something is passing in front of it, and the lighting in the menu screens, it’s pretty good and am enjoying it quite a bit.
Playing on performance and it looks good enough to me, everything feels refined which is what I wanted from a sequel. However if this one ends without me getting that sword back I’m gonna be pretty fucking annoyed.

lots of people streaming this of course.

the visuals are incredible if nothing else. the humans, and body animations aren't the tip top. cyberpunk and bg3 are better. but the environments are the best I've ever seen I think.
