Yes, yes, a million times yes. 11" is a joke, 14" is what you want and for $50 more it shouldn't even be a question. What's everyones opinion on HP Chromebook 14 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER)
I'm looking for a new portable laptop. All I need it for is college stuff, surfing and streaming. I plan on using my external hard drive as well (if that is possible on chromebooks). Just looking for something inexpensive and fast that can handle what I need. I'm more keen on the 14in than the 11in.
EDIT: Read on page 25 Chromebook sounds like what I need. Is the HP 14in worth the 50$+ compared to the 11in? Bah, just read up on Samsung's Chromebook, has 4gb Ram...Not sure now.
For comparison:

A whole lot of them come DOA or damn close.Lenovo Y series is the shit.
Mine has never so much as coughed funny, 6 months of hard core usage.A whole lot of them come DOA or damn close.
Way more than IBM thinkpads ever did.
so my laptop finally arrived at home (Maryland) and my wife did a boot test to make sure everything loaded correctly and then sent it to me in the desert...after 17 days it appears to have been "lost" in shipping. i have a tracking update saying it left the US on the 5th, all other mail (things from Amazon) and care packages tend to arrive in 7-9 days. Due to it being an APO address i cant file for the insurance for 45 days and it could be 180 days until they issue a refund.after pouring over laptops for the last few days i looked at the Lenovo Y50, alienware14, the upcoming Asus G50 (ithink?) and the Aorus i settled on the Razer 2014 (256ssd). i did miss that the 2014 was touch screen and it seems the 870 is a pretty big upgrade from the benchmark scores i looked at. It should arrive at home tomorrow then i have to wait a week for it to arrive out here in the Middle East, I'll post a review after i clock some hours on it.
