Best value strip clubs in Vegas? Opinions?
You cannot go wrong with Spearmint Rhino, they tend to have the best quality girls over all. Don't get me wrong there are a couple 6s in there but they are few and far between, you will see more 9 and 10s there than any other strip club.

Sapphire is decent too but they are more about quantity than quality. Sapphire will have more girls than you can count but they will range from 4s to 10s. That said the HOTTEST STRIPPER I ever met was at Sapphire.

If you have a big group of guys call ahead an see what deals they have for free limo pick up and group entry fees. Also, if you are military you will get in free to Rhino for sure, I think Sapphire too but I am not sure.

Saw Raiding the Rock Vault this weekend. If you are a fan of classic rock 70s-80s, see it. Great, great show. I will say that judging by the audience and the cast's mediocre enthusiasm at times and show's length in production (2 years or so?) it is long in the tooth and not likely to stay I'm guessing. Or at least not with the same musicians.

There were some curious choices for musical pieces though, it seemed to be 'chart' driven instead of 'classics' so some songs are obvious hits but others were super popular but ended up being shit tracks that they still played anyway. Like for Heart, they played 'Alone' which, maybe just me but I'd rather hear any other Heart song. For Hendrix they did 'All along the Watchtower' which is a great tune but I don't think it defines him as much as Hey Joe or Killing Floor or Purple Haze or Wind Cries Mary or ... And for Zep they did Stairway which is OK but like any non-casual Zep fan I would rather hear literally anything else from almost any album.

The last time I was there (2012) it seemed like that property had put all of their money recently into The Palazzo sister property that is attached to the Venetian. The Palazzo is REALLY nice and brand new(well, new as of 3 years ago I guess) but the Venetian had been a little neglected for a while during the construction of the Palazzo, it seemed like.
I just stayed there. Looks like they have put renewed focus on restoring the Venetian. The common areas were all in pretty good repair and they are doing a bunch of construction (and some big addition above an area on the mall. The rooms were OK, obviously not 'brand new' but still well maintained for the age. I do love the canal shops - I'm a sucker for the exterior architecture styles indoor - so there + Forum Shops + Miracle Mile are awesome. I'd probably stay there again but only with a good rate. It is just not new enough to command the value they price at full retail. I think it was pulling a Luxor before they started fixing a few things... what a dump that place has become. At least NYNY is kitschy, Luxor just seems old to me and not in the 'classical' way like Bellagio/Venetian/Ceasars.

Did they fix-up the canal area? That area was a fucking shit-hole. Problem with that much light is you can see all the flaws.

Yea it looked in good condition. I honestly thought the Forum shops seemed dumpier overall.

Ceasers is a shithole in general. Even Darkness can't cover up that much fail.
Yea it's clearly seen better times. I did win $25 dollars there though.

I must be the only person wholikesgoing to Vegas and hates gambling. I will do poker occasionally but I just fucking hate random games of chance. I do like black jack/21 for free drinks forever. Depends on the rules but in many casinos you can stay afloat forever if you play to not lose. But slot machines are just dumb as fuck, none of them even make sense... you get the ones with 30 lines and some ridiculous bullshit overlay... you just press a button, sometimes you get money sometimes you don't. I don't understand how people can get addicted to that shit. Even when I more than doubled my money playing a slot machine 3 times I was like 'oh, damn eject, eject!' because I actually got up for once.

If they had like, you know, Counter-Strike for $$ style gambling, I would be broke as fuck, though. I really wish there were more 'skill' based adverserial gambling games other than the few card games.

next time you go to vegas go to town center - fry's electronics is right next to it and worth a visit if you don't have one - and there is a gameworks there. they run open game nights a few times a week and people put in $10 or whatever into a pool and the top 3 winners get the cash. they've done super smash, mario kart, cs:go, mortal kombat, street fighter, tf2, etc.

otherwise its pretty much a dave & busters with games, food, and alcohol. also a good movie theater above it and a bunch of really great food places and bars around it.

Any of you guys see a boxing match closed circuit in Vegas? If so, how was it? $150 for mayweather fight. I don't know if I should do that or wait to see if places off strip will let me view for cheaper. It's dumb, I'd rather watch it in my room at the Luxor but that doesn't sound like an option.

The 12th one listed is at the Mandalay Beach, that might be cool. If strip clubs are your thing you might want to see if Sapphire is showing the fight as well, I used to go to their MNF with customers all the time.

Shit is all sold out. Mgm doing a blackout in Vegas for fight. Businesses can't show it. This is brutal. I'm staying at their hotel and they can't help me watch the fight. Something really wrong with that.

You can watch the fight at MGM properties, just nowhere else. So good luck unless you get to a bar or something hours early.
