Haha, yeah that would have been epic of you. For some reason I tried late last night to trade him but it wasn't allowing me to trade Helios for Chaox, I guess helios is considered EU for fantasy LCS cuz it kept bringing up a "can't trade EU" players whenever I'd try to trade. Then this morning I'm like, well this is the final week of lcs and there aren't "playoffs" for fantasy so just get rid of dlift for him.I tried stealing Chaox from Sidian but I already had 2 ADCs, wish I coulda dropped Celaver, lol! Now Sidian has him, but hopefully CLG sub-team bombs
Either way, I'd probably win just because of that alliance vs mil game where both wickd and creaton got like 50+ points from that one game lol.

Some days just don't make any sense. The other night I went 2-6 in ranked, doing decently, not feeding, one game I was jungle udyr, got 4 dragons, 1 baron and 2 inhibs and we still lost because everybody else blew fucking ass. Tonight, I don't have any spectacular games, yet I go 7-1.

I've probably asked this before but I still don't get it:
You join a game and 3 people say "Top" then argue who goes in the top lane, then the match disbands and you have to wait again. The map is fucking symmetrical, are they really so bothered at lv20 over who is slightly closer to red/blue buff and dragon/baron?

At lvl 20, do teams have a jungler? If yes. Then people are arguing over the solo lane. This will continue for the life of the game.
If not, and the lane setup is 2-1-2, then there is no great reason to argue over it. The side with the tribush is more open to ganks and there for a slightly more difficult one, but we have already established that there is no jungle, and I doubt people are very worried about mid roam or even aware enough to know which side of the map they are on in champ select.
People are assholes and mostly clueless.

I'm so fucking sick of chat restrictions. I'm not going to say mine are completely undeserved, but it seems like if I just sneeze in a game I wind up with 10+ games restricted.
Once you get restrictions it seems like you'll get more if any of your team mates just happen to not like you for any reason. Really sucks when you get a queued group that do terrible and just want to pick on everyone else to absolve themselves.

I honestly have no idea how you can get chat restricted. I play A LOT and have definitely had a flared temper more than once. I've seen a warning for verbal abuse like 2-3 times ever and never have been chat restricted. All I can assume is that if you're chat restricted it's probably much deserved.

That's how I felt for the longest time too. My first chat restriction was well deserved. However, I've made a pretty concerted effort to not rage whatsoever. Just seems like once you get restricted, they just roll in very easily after that.
Odd, I know I have raged and gotten the pop ups for verbal abuse or whatever dumb shit it said, but I have yet to get chat restricted.

I've never done anything like that. But I have bitched about people doing stupid shit. Calling people bad is about the worst insult I sling around.
Like I said, I admit I deserved my earlier restrictions, but now I seem to get them even if hardly say anything in chat at all. Nowadays I usually play with my chat key unbound just so I don't incidentally make anyone upset whatsoever even if just by trying to provide constructive criticism. Yet as soon as I finish a restriction, I log back on and have another 10. Just makes no sense to me.
Even if you throw out dragon control as Eidal mentioned it is still going to end up with a similar situation. Either the lanes will swap and it ends up 2v2 top anyway or they continue the 1v2 if they think they can get an advantage from it (pushing towers, roaming mid, stealing jungle camps etc.). Chris, one way to consider the metagame is that its a gentleman's agreement to play a certain way due to limited time constraints to form a unique strategy AND it roughly parallels what the pros are doing. Obviously, the differences between low level pub play and professional LoL play are night and day, but random strangers in a 5 man team need SOMETHING to agree on. There is no confusion when someone says "mid or feed" -- as annoying as it is, they're conforming to a defined role and it allows the rest of the team the information they need to cobble together something sensible.
Ultimately, the "optimal" tactics/strategy are tweaked and tested by the professionals and other dedicated gamers who spend 16 hours a day pouring over this shit. Different variations of this trickle down into ranked and normal play, although you will never see the exact same meta between bronze and diamond. Two wildly different groups of people with different capabilities and motivations.

I've spent a long time trolling in low plat/gold and then playing more serious to make it up to plat/low diamond. There's a few key major differences I've noticed.
First, people in the lower elo do not work together at the start. To start the game, they all just run to their lanes and sit there. Sure, one might be assed to go drop a ward lazily, and someone will leash, and theres a few exceptions where people invade, but for the most part people just don't respond properly. In the higher elo, people almost always will work together during the start. Five man rush to protect buff, proper jungle awareness, ect.
The other major difference is teams are more adaptable. When I play teemo support at gold, I almost always get someone who goes "FUCK TEEEEMO" and then they start trolling. In the vast majority of my higher elo games, people just say "Ok" and play. If we die in lane in the lower elos they instantly go crazy "FUCKING TEEMO SUPPORT I SHOULD OF FUKING AFKD" ect, and if that happens in the higher elo, people just back to lane and keep playing. I literally think the major difference between your average low diamond and gold player is they have a smaller dose of retard. I also notice this difference in myself. When I start reacting to my teammates and being negative, I have a much much harder time getting out of gold/low plat.
Of course, this rule doesn't universally apply, there are plenty more subtle differences, and there are certainly players that fall outside of the scheme. I've notice players which have amazing solo play abilities in gold, but they can't team fight or place themselves for team fights for shit, but team average adaptability has always been the major driving differences that I see between my lower and higher elo teams.

iirc the top laner tower still has that protection buff until the 8 min mark or so which reduces champion damage on it but correct me if I'm wrong
also there is less pressure having to destroy a top lane tower early for map control of that region because of the delayed baron spawn unlike dragon and bottom
