You should see a lot more variety due to having 4 more LCS teams, too. And if you watch other leagues you'll see even more.

The two days of NA LCS play had eight different junglers played between the ten games (Elise, Vi, Nocturne, J4, Lee, Nunu, Rengar, Rek'sai) with J4 and Rango being the most popular. That's probably as good as you can hope for at the competitive level. The Euro LCS also had Aatrox, Olaf, and Hecarim and Diamond of Gambit has played Sej at the last IEM.

One dozen different junglers is actually damned good the more that I think about it. There's another 3-4 at least that are playable like Sion and Fiddle that we could also see along with some fringe options like Rammus and Kha.

edit -

I did a game versus bots and someone on my team didn't connect so it took forever to load. I was then myself disconnected. I reconnect, finish out the game, and after the game it makes me promise I won't leave again? I didn't fucking leave in the first place! I got DC'd during start up in a game where someone else couldn't connect and it was versus bots and I reconnected, never died, and we won.

It should also accept "go fuck yourself, it was your shitty servers that DC'd me, eat my ass"

I had that happen to me in an aram before Arbitary. Sat at 100% for about 3 or 4 minutes before it finally crashed saying "league has crashed" reconnected back in, was about ~4min into the game, felt like shit but played it out, we actually won. Got that leaverbuster at the end. wtfmate.

Also, regarding fantasy LCS, I feel sorry for anyone that has to play me, Impact is back, my lineup is set, gg, 1st place secured.

Boy how I missed silver players.
Tons of shit talking all the time.
Quick to give up.
Cluelessness
Tons of afks/dcs
Easy throws

But sometimes the games can just be hella fun.
Had an enemy trundle-jungle shit talk the entire game. He camped me in mid a while and they got 3 kills on me after a while, shit talk each and every time.
Ended up scoring 19 straight kills after that.
Fun shit:http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegen...3?tab=overview

Lol, go 8/2 in my placements, only 2 games I lost were due to a troll adc in the first game and a troll mid in the 2nd. End up getting placed in silver fucking 4. Maybe if I went 10/0 i'd have been silver 3 material, who knows.

Describes every single bracket of LoL I've seen or watched.
You're right but the difference between brackets is the degree that these things happen. In Silver it's practically every single game, whereas Gold seems to have less occurrences of most the shit. Like in Gold it seems you got an afk/dc player maybe 1 every 10 games whereas in Silver it seems like 1 in 3 games. Shit talking in Gold is probably higher than any other bracket because that's where players think they're so much better than everyone else. I haven't experienced plat+ but watching streams seems to show players having a little more respect except for the occasional douche.

Silver players are faster to give up, even if the game starts 0-1 or if they see (god forbid) a Gold bordered player on the enemy team. I had a game 2 days ago where my jungler saw I had a gold border and said "I didn't think we'd lose when I saw the gold border". Of course when he suicide-dives my lane opponent it makes it tough to get a lead (and then carry).

I had a game yesterday where we were winning but we had a Nasus split pusher for 30 mins and our ADC was splitting a lot too, this pissed off our jungler so he decided to troll and never group. "You guys split push for 30 mins, now its my turn". Was an easy win but too much drama from the jungler threw the whole game away. You do see drama in Gold+ but people still want to win in most cases, this guy decided he wanted to lose and said it multiple times throughout the game.

So yea, long-winded response to saying that these issues aren't exclusive to Silver, it's just how often they occur is much greater.

Promos somehow made my MMR amazing. I ended at platinum 4 maybe 50 lp in the preseason and played 6-4 in my placements, ended in gold 1. Quickly rose up through gold 1 to platinum promos, won them 3-0 and since then I think I got up to 98 lp by losing only one game or two. Won the next one and slingshot directly to platinum 3 without any promos or anything. Never happened to me before so I was madly stoked. Still gaining 30 lp per win and am at 60 lp already after 2 games. Here's to hoping I'll get the same treatment to p1, would be amazing to actually make diamond and in the first month of the season

Its amazing how easily people go on tilt in bronze. Almost 90% of games the entire team melts down and rages on each other.

Last night I had a game where we had a lead almost since the start and 2 people on the team started flaming, from then on it was 30 minutes of hardcore toxicity even though we stomped the enemy team. Behavior like that is normal. Gave up first blood or died to a jungler gank in lane? almost always someone will say "gg" or "quit feeding".

The hell is wrong with people in this game.

People get frustrated + people are stupid + the player base is kids + Dunning Kruger. It's usually some combination of those things. Assholes also exist. All you can really do in those situations is not contribute to the bile.

The quitter mentality in the lower ranks baffles me the most because everyone down there throws all the time all game every game. If you do nothing but drag a game out the enemy team has a good chance of just imploding on their own. How the players at those ranks don't know that is beyond me. Do you really think anyone down here is so good you can't come back? You make the enemy team prove it can actually finish the game.

It's the same reason everyone complains so much about quitters/feeders/toxicity, they focus too much on other players. If you just pay attention to what you're doing and ignore the rest (aside from map strategies, which can all be understood from watching the minimap) you'll almost certainly go up ranks.

The ratio of dcs/feeders isn't nearly as high as basically anyone ever makes it out to be, but it's easily remembered and even more so when focusing on other peoples mistakes so much. Unless you're coaching somebody, there is literally no reason to ever worry about someones mistake. It does nothing except distract you and make you play worse.

Nah man, DCs are common as shit. "Intentional" feeding is very rare but the amount of afk/dcs is crazy high at lower brackets because kids suck and can't manage their time properly or have brothers/sisters fucking with them or have parents fucking with them or just simply dont have cash to buy their own damn shit and settle for the crappy hand-me-downs.

I dunno, I never really saw a large amount of dcs/afk. DCs for Riot's shitty servers sure but most of those came back into the game.

Again, anecdotes != statistics. If we just compare anecdotes then we'd be nowhere because I see leavers way less than 1/10 games in silver which is far different from what you claim. Statistics show in to be more in the 1 in 20 games area. But it will never seem like that if you don't play hundreds of games and track everything. You don't remember the 19 games you didn't have a leaver, just the 1 that did. And since no one wants to track all their own games just to override their personal bias, it's best just to adopt a different focus and improve that way :p

Oh, I do not focus on it by any means, just telling you the facts from my games. Leavers/AFKs are ~20% in gold for me and are about 33% atm in silver. I count ANY afk/dc btw, not just afk from the start or if they never come back. If someone dc's for even just a couple minutes that counts in my book cause in 2 minutes enemy team can easily push and win the game.
