98% of people want to win. I think that's important to remember, especially if you don't want to become the troll who bitches at everyone who does something you don't think they should have.Still a new lvl 30, but why do people tank games?
I was pretty sure I was going to lose Plat the same day I got it but I finally managed to win a game.Ugh I didn't get a message about getting demoted or about to. Not that it would have changed the outcome of these games, but still pretty sucky to be in gold then silv 1
Player Tally for Surges - Digits - WSJRiot Games, of Santa Monica, Calif., said it now counts more than 27 million gamers playing ?League of Legends? each day, more than double the 12 million it counted in October 2012. The company also said it has counted peaks of over 7.5 million customers playing the game at the same time each day, up 50% from the 5 million the company counted in March of last year.
i'd suggest including a screen shot of charts you can make with this dataI made a google spreadsheet that uses Riot's API, I posted instructions on setting it up on Reddit:
A spreadsheet I made using Riot's API : leagueoflegends
If anyone chooses to use it, lemme know if you encounter any difficulties.
For here or reddit? I don't have an imgur account so didnt bother including any for reddit. I might make an instructional video in the future.i'd suggest including a screen shot of charts you can make with this data
What are some of these nuances that you speak of? Like, what do you do differently now than you did 200 wins ago? What separates top players from good players?98% of people want to win. I think that's important to remember, especially if you don't want to become the troll who bitches at everyone who does something you don't think they should have.
Primarily people do poorly just because they're bad at the game. There's so much nuance to this game, which requires a deeper level of understanding and analysis than most people are capable of. So they make poor choices, don't understand the flow of the game, don't understand matchups, don't understand the importance of objectives over kills, etc.
The other half do poorly primarily because of their egos. These people constantly put themselves on tilt because they can't handle playing with other people that they can't control, and can't accept that everyone makes mistakes. And once they're playing poorly because they're on tilt, they can't accept that they're also at fault for losing a game, and instead blame their teams and rage and whine, etc.
