Yeah, Bard or Pally. I'd really level something else to 50 and use one of your boosts on Bard if that's what you want to main. Bard leveling can be rough.Kirun You say Paladin or Bard for support? Given I'm already a 'Zerker I was thinking Bard to be a different archetype, but if the Paladin community is balls, maybe I should go in and can hide behind all the shitters!
Bad paladins will get weeded out of this game really quick. The community is fine, just a bunch of dipshits that think they have a "choice" when playing a Paladin in a group. If you wanna be a DPS idiot, keep an alternate gear set for chaos dungeons and call it good.

I hadn’t seen servers be char locked this weekend and was able to roll on Regulus on Saturday around noon. Seems like they changed the caps.

Regulus - servers have rolling character locks at peak population. So just hit it up in the off hours of course. /edit (if you cant make one right away.)

How important are gunlancers, or are they just a tankier version of DPS? It's what I ended up rolling. I have no clue on the end game stuff,.

The combat is fun, but I'm having a hard time thinking I'm going to get hooked long term even once I get to 50 and the start of the "endgame". Story is like D3 campaign level of forgettable or worse, and just feels like so many systems to keep up with. It does have a lot of QoL already built in being X years old before release here.

There are 4 more continents after you hit 50 to go through and getting to 60 will take much longer than 1-50 more than 3 times over

This is a pretty reasonable take. You either enjoy the endgame loop (from my standpoint, I really enjoy the Guardian Raids & Abyss Dungeons) or you don't and the game only has limited appeal (at which point, it's a F2P game that brought you some fun). Feels like a win no matter what?
Math does not check out. I'd be able to level 1-50 about 5000 times before I could do 50-60. I have Punika left and I'm only closing in on 52.

i didn't understand what this was till i watched this video some one linked in discord:
apparently it's not a purchased level 50 character boost. it's that... you buy a chest. and when you hit level 10 it gives you 520 of these crystals you can use in the game shop, or to buy things in game or something. and anther chest which gives another 520 at 20. then another at 30 and 40 and 50. it's 'if you complete all the levels you get 2600 of these currencies'. the weird thing the guy in the video points out is that you can...spend 11 dollars real life. buy that pack. play the game. and the value of the currency you get out of it is enough to buy six months of the subscirption fee which normally costs like 10 dollars.
so i guess it's a cheap way to get the subscription bonuses? i dunno.
some one already pointed out that there IS a way to boost another character to 50 if you already got a single character to 50, but that's not relaly the same as paying to instant 50. that could be a thing but it's not from that 'complete pack' thing.
