You need to hit 1300 just to unlock the t3 stuff, as otherwise it's gated (Una will give t2 mats for example). But after that I don't see any reason to rush if you don't want to.

Here's the thing. The costs of blue crystals is already so high so fast that it can't really get much higher. And how much gold you can earn per week will go up significantly. Holding on to most of that gold would have been the thing to do. There are better things to invest in, too. Like skins. Blue crystals are just a convenience item. I didn't buy any like the first year in RU, and barely any in the past year.
I always set a floor on my gold that I don't go under, so I'll have it "just in case." Currently that floor is 30k.

I wish all their systems weren't so convoluted. And like I said about New World, why the shop is so completely devoid of things like skins.
Outside of Aura, what do you use BC for? Is everything else gold purchasable? I'm assuming only through the market, and that'd require pheons?
Do you need the other crystals for anything?
Maybe what I'm really asking is, is there a list of what is purchased with what currency? It's hard to know based on an empty shop what I might need later.

Blue crystals are mainly used for convenience things. More slots in your warehouse/shared storage. More gear presets, more pages in your tripod library, that kind of stuff. And, of course, Mari's shop. In RU there's some basic skins they sell in the cash shop, but most skins are sold on the website for a limited time, which is why their selling price goes up exponentially when they go off sale. Any skins that are purchasable for blue crystals can also be bought on the AH for a slight markup usually.
Skin pieces that have all 3 trades left, and skin boxes don't require pheons to buy off the AH, everything else does.

I use a lot of the convenience stuff because I PvP a lot. So, I have a build on my Paladin for soloing, group, 1v1 PvP, 3v3 PvP, gearsets for each, etc. On top of that, I'm sitting on about 10 months or so of crystalline aura with those crystals and the pet functions alone I'll never give up. Plus, Mari's shop actually ends up "saving" you money on mats in many instances as well.
Yeah, maybe it isn't the "best" investment I could've made, but I think you're lying to yourself if you think whales aren't going to whale and keep inflating the cost of BCs. Especially with the bots running more and more rampant. And when Argos releases, I'll bet you're going to see another massive spike upwards.

There's a limit to how high it will go, otherwise it would be way higher in KR and RU. You also have to consider the fact that 1. A lot of that gold these whales are throwing around is from people buying their blues and shit with RMT gold. We don't know what steps Amazon is going to take, but they're currently working on something and it could drastically affect the economy. On the other hand, if they for some reason don't, or whatever they do is ineffectual than it won't really matter, since the game will be shit with a broken economy.
Amazon has to do something though. This out of control RMT shit is costing them tons of profit, both short term and long. Remember, the enter profit of the game is based on selling gold to players and they are getting the shit beat out of them in that department. They can't eliminate it, but they can easily slow it way the fuck down with 2 simple changes.

Playing from Australia. It feels slightly laggy like basically every other MMO, definitely playable. I haven't done any hard content though as I'm only on T1 guardian/chaos dungeons.
I'm playing on USwest, ping hovers around between 180-210.
No queues.

Or they could do nothing and let gold inflate to the point its worthless. If these decisions are squarely in AGS's department for "westernization" then I dont have a good outlook on it. I wouldnt be negative towards a company over a single game (NW) but Im seeing changes to this game compared to the KR version that the implications of such changes can be seen a mile away. Them buffing Guardian HP, after multiple nerfs in the KR version - you have to wonder what the fk is going on? Its as if AGS is looking at it from a point that "they know better" when in fact, they are an actual detriment to the game. Since the reality is that we are at the beginning of T3 and in "that" world of progression, we've barely scraped the surface for what KR has - all you can do is farm the shit that KR had months and months to complete and be happy that AGS will eventually realize that Smilegate is using the KR servers as their Test Realms for the NA/EU servers.

I took a pretty big hit in terms of gold as I set up a second account and wanted to rush through T2 on it (my patience was thin!). I should have the second account in T3 after the reset tomorrow with two alts in T2 on it. I also need to put a lot more emphasis on my alts in the main account - to many things to do!
In the interim, I'll need to return to the market and make some more but my big market items have started to dry up as people get smarter. C'est la vie!

What the fuck is up with the Una tasks giving shit instructions and being untrackable like quests? Like I had one to cleanse some catacombs, so I had to get holy water from the monastary in another zone. Except it doesnt tell you where and I ran all over the stupid map trying to find something to interact with.

I see everyone raving about alts feeding the main, but playing my main is taking all the time i can spare as there's so much shit to do.
So I'm not going to bother unless my main have nothing to do all of a sudden, then I can try get an alt to tier 2.
Tldr I'm too old to be min maxing to save a week or two.
