Yes. You'll log in to the power pass that will bring your character to 1600 with relative ease. You'll have 5x3 engraving support, level 7 gems, and materials/honing buffs provided that essentially means every two weeks you'll reach a new raid for 2 months. Once you break into Akkan normal (at 1580) this will start to get slower and you'll run into some frustration that new players face which will likely make you quit but the ride before that is quite enjoyable.

The next 5 weeks are going to be weird for the market across the board but then July 17 will hit and every character gets engraving support and solo raids become active (including Akkan).

Costs do not drop until July 17th. When it does I believe the KR patch notes said up to 1540 becomes silver only with 1540-1580 gold reduction. They have also suggested a new Path event (essentially an express for 1580+) may be added but no details provided.
  • Honing price up until 1580 will decrease.
  • Crafting / Upgrade / Set Upgrade price will decrease.
  • Elixir Transmuting price will decrease, while supply will increase.
  • Transcendence restoration price will decrease, while supply of Dark Fire will increase.

Heads up for everyone not terrified of UI windows, Part 2 of the event changes the currency completely and you will not earn any more powders. So if you slacked and wanted to buy out the event vendor you got 2 days and that's it. New tab will appear and everyone else will be dumping into silver on Wednesday.

update: looks like they heard the complaints from other regions and slipped a down conversion into our patch

No, its just like D2 - you log in a year + later and nothing makes sense. If you never played D2 then nm, but those who've taken extended breaks get it.

Translate and parse what you want, but the biggest change if people are reading correctly is that KR community had a huge backlash against the Quality raise to 120 and they are nixing that and staying with 100 Quality max. T3 shards will NOT be converting to T4 as well.

Fuckers need to cave to KR pressure and make CD/Dmg gems changeable at a silver cost.

Also: patch day best day. Kurzan story is fun so far.

So Event Vendor Part 2... three levels of books to buy 30 / 20 / 10 for weapon... but then 30/ 20 / 10 (x3) for armor. They understand we have 5 pieces of armor right?

Math is not their strong suit.

Cleared g1 of Echidna and I really like the gate, it's going to be fun even as hw. The little bit of time spent on G2 was not impressive though and I have a feeling I'm going to hate people quite a bit on it.

I keep forgetting to get ready for the next tier. Gotta start saving my cube tickets, chaos dungeon rested, etc rather than using them.

After an incredibly painful week I finally got my Echidna clear. Homework on this gate is not going to be enjoyable.

Patch today has the new Ark Pass which is tremendous value, especially with advanced honing.

Got +10 on my weapon thanks to the orehas it gave me:

I used epicNPC but it's a PITA and I'm lucky I had a good amount of feedback. Lot's of people trying to scam me lmao. What you're better off doing is stripping the account and buying level 10 or 9 etc gems and selling those and then just sell the stripped account for a low price. Little more work but you'll end up getting more and have a lot easier time selling it most likely.
