I think it's pretty common when people are cheating on their spouse to then get irrationally paranoid about them doing the same thing to you. After all, you do it so her doing the same is not too hard to imagine.

I don't think his confrontation with Megan had anything to do with her kissing scene. He went to the Heinz pitch where Peggy kicked his ass then Chaough confronted him at the bar with Peggy. He was emasculated. He goes to the set and confronts her immediately after that. Then he goes and bangs his mistress.

I think his ad was more clever. By not even showing the product they really hammer home how well known it is. But it is an ad and they didn't show the product. I don't know, his seemed more artistic and her's seemed like a better ad, but I am never good at judging these things.

Exactly. Big Bad Don didnt have a good day and smashed on Megan as a way to regain his dominance.

I love Harry Crane.

I think this can only go 2 ways. Harry becomes a partner and a slightly larger part of the show, or he leaves.

His character has just been standing i nthe background for a few seasons. And to be honest, he is just as important to the Firms Success as anyone.

Since Roger asked if they should fire him before cashing the check leads me to believe they don't think as highly of him as he thinks of himself

He represents a part of the business that thay dont understand or focus on, but definitely makes them a boatload of money. He isnt wrong, but his abrasiveness doesnt win him any fans. Except with that last confrontation, that was pretty awesome.

He did say he bought it in the room but I wasn't sure if it was BS or real talk. Wasn't sure how big an asshole the guy is.

Possible, but from the look on Don's face he seemed to know she was killing her presentation. And then Barney Fife comes in the bar 5 seconds later saying they lost the entire Heinz account because Johnny Ketchup talked. To me it seemed that they won.

Ah according to "The Internet" neither firm won the account. There was a third firm that came in after Peggy's team and they won the account.

That was just Roger being Roger.

Chaos is right, they dont get the TV side of things, they are very old school.

The fact that they cut him a commission check thats more than he makes in a year show they know they have to try to appease him.

Harry always "backs down" sort of. Like when creating the department and asking for a raise Roger is able to talk his demands down and he settles. Same with his office. Its like they know how to play him. When he demands what he has earned, they give him a little and he takes it. But now he wants more. And fought for it and didnt back down.

I must be retarded because I was certain Peggy won the account. It was quite late when I watched it though. Harry's blowup was good, and this episode as a whole was great. As for the commission check, I thought it was half of what he makes in a year?
