I think RoTCG is the best of Esslemont's books. I've enjoyed his work because it fleshes out the Malazan world so much. Is it on par with Erikson's books? No. Will I still read and enjoy them? Yes.Am I the only one who enjoyed Return of the Crimson Guard and Esslemonts books?
Oh haha, I think that's supposed to be an Election poster someone made! Not a project announcement from Erikson, hahaThat’s awesome. Tehol and Bugg are great, some of my favorite characters. That said, I’d rather he finish Kharakanas or TGINW before diving into another project.
Take a look at my post a few up and it should have a good idea on the number of Hardcover vs Paper releases. Some of thr MM paperbacks are pretty expensive too bc weirdos are out there trying to collect every version that has been published. Hard covers in general are going up because the available binders and book maker people are going down and QA:QC took a big hit on some of the small publishers. SubPress did a 3rd printing on Book 1 and 2 which pretty much killed the secondary market for those printings for the moment. Why are Hard covers of these books so pricey?
Did they just do some limited thing and then all in on paperback?
