You related to the Zappa family or something?
Hoss is either incredibly stupid or an habitual liar. Or both. Or plays one on the internet. Or all of the above. Either way, very hard to take anything he posts seriously.

I'm pretty sure Noodle is actually quite happy and the stuff he posts here is mostly whinging as opposed to actual angry ranting.

lol this doesn't even apply to what was said. Are you honestly suggesting I might be so dumb that I don't know what some people in my family were named? Or do you just look for any chance to take a personal shot at me. Even if it's the grownup forum.

If you hate me so much why don't I know who you are? You should be calling me out all over the place wherever you think I'm lying.

That's what I've always said I'm doing. Very rarely am I legitimately angry - this guitar thing is a bit of that though. I don't buy that because I let my wife handle the bills, I have no say in how it should be spent, but arguing here often doesn't work.

@the small things. Doing the dishes every night takes me 10 minutes. It's a small thing. Would I prefer not doing it? Of course, but I did because it caused my wife a lot of pain (pain you could see too).

Technically I think I'm in the 5% of income at 125, but that's just nit picking. Lenaldo is actually 1% I think

5% individual. Your broken dishwasher is dragging down your household average, though.

Your wife is a stay at home mom and she couldn't buy herself gloves? That was an excuse to be lazy and not do the dishes until you bought them for her. And what the hell was she doing anyway getting dish detergent all over her hands? Was she sticking them in the dishwasher while it was running? Doesn't take much effort to wipe/rinse a dish clean with just water after use and then stick them straight in the dishwasher.

You tell us stories about your wife that are just kind of ridiculous.

Something you may not know because you aren't married and therefore your advice is always invalid, is that all of my kids utensils, cups, plates, etc are plastic that can't be put in the dishwasher. Most of our dishes are exactly that.

You can almost put all of that stuff in the dishwasher if you don't use the 'drying' feature. That's the part that will fuck those items up. I just shut the drying off and crack the d/w open and let it air dry or if I need to use it sooner, just hand dry the stuff and put it away.

I'm just jealous because I don't have a dishwasher. Or someone who will buy me gloves for my delicate hands.

Just charge the family a dishwashing fee of $700 a month and you'll have your guitar in a month.

I did hear some magic words last night. She told her aunt "well he does work all day and gets home late and Im home all day so I've started cooking"

Wife has been stressing me the fuck out. I've basically started just doing my own thing most nights because she never is positive about anything.

Not really a big deal... Since you know... She doesn't work and all. This put her over the edge with a dumb tirade about how I slept so late and if I got up earlier it all would've been taken care of. Like I said... Her car. Well, actually it's mine but that's a story for a different day.

This is a minor thing but it's been pissing me off all day. No matter that I did all of this stuff for her, there has to always be a negative angle to anything. I don't know exactly what point she turned into a miserable cunt but it's very tiring.

You apparently in March, kids deep into a marriage and having her stay home, just had her realize she should start cooking.

I mean I'm glad you're happy and I know a lot of people just come here to complain, but some of that sentiment rings false to me when I read stuff like I bolded.

The negativity kind of dried up when I started hitting it about 2-3 times a night.

My real frustration is why was she turning me down then? I guess the first time we fucked, I sort of went animalistic and just had Lazer eyes on the pussy that night

You my man need to get your hands on some primo 100mg viagras and bang her like you've never done before.

Then withhold. Take back the power man. Marriage is all about living in the tension and making it work. Like north and south Korea.

Do you married folk combine all your bank accounts/moneys?
Late reply but I’m only now catching up with the thread. What we do is combine income and take an equal semi weekly “fun money” allowance of a few hundred bucks per month each. This has resulted in almost zero fights about money in eleven years of marriage.

The other day was probably one of my biggest WTF moments in 13 years of marriage. We had our first really warm day of the year, and it was in the 80s. I come home and enter into our kitchen (used to be the garage before the remodel) and went upstairs into the living room. It was hot in there so I went over to the thermostat which was still set on heat. No biggie, it was cold that morning, and the wife drops the daughter off and then goes straight into the kitchen to do cake orders and what not, so I just figured she hadn't bothered to switch it over to cool, so I did.

About ten minutes later I hear my wife yell "WHO TURNED THE THERMOSTAT ON???"

"I did, why?"

"I KEPT IT OFF AND SWEAT MY ASS OFF ALL DAY, AND YOU JUST STROLL IN AND TURN IT ON???"

"Uh... that's what you do when you are sweating. Don't get pissed at me for being a dumbass."

She then goes on a rant that she is trying to save the electric bill. It has been stupid high, but we had proven it was because of the shitty energy hog hotel unit we have in the kitchen. It just runs nonstop all night during the winter when it gets really cold. We had a ton of historic data in the previous bills to show that, and I was completely blind sided she somehow came to the conclusion that ALL units need to be off. I mean shit March and February were really cold still and we just simply started shutting the hotel unit completely off at night and boom, bill went down almost by half. Needless to say she still continued to bite my head off, and I let her rant, told her to get fucked. Once we calmed down she apologized, and I have given in because really I'm fine at this point if the fans are on. However I told her if I start getting uncomfortable the AC is going on and she can get fucked again.

Woman logic still eludes me after 13 years.

RE: Finances ours are completely together. Her family has serious wealth and once the trusts go fully live in the next year or so, I've made it clear I do not want any of my assets tied up in that shit so we may go a little separate there, but it will be in the form that she will open a new checking account for any funds she gets from that and then she can transfer it into our main account. It's a long story, but bottom line they really don't want us sons in law being in direct contact with the family wealth. Cool, not mine anyway.
