Worst part about this whole thing is that I lived in Pittsburgh for 10 years, was friends with this girl for a while but was in a relationship. Got out of relationship and for some reason hastily moved back to my hometown in NY and right after I did that she messaged me. I really fucking regret moving back.

Well, usually there's a downside to moving. But you have a very flexible job, you understandably hate living in Cicero, and I'm assuming you wouldn't be breaking a lease. So why not? No one's saying move in with her. Just back to Pittsburgh. And not immediately, make it the next step and work towards it gradually.
