I have to admit, for as stupid as Dumar is, it's quite hilarious watching people who do the same generalizing as he does get all uppity when it relates to generalizations about women/thingstheydon't feel should be generalized.

Case in poinst: Middle East Craziness thread

"Fuck those Muslim fucks! All of them are a bunch of savage barbarians!!"
"Woah, man. Not all Muslims are like that! You can't generalize a whole religion like that!"
"Fuck you, Islam sympathizer!! Here's a bunch of polling data that says most Muslims are radical!!"

Then along comes Dumar postulating that most women exhibit x, y, or z behavior under a, b, or c scenario:

"Woah! You redpill fuck! Not all women are like that!!! You can't generalize a whole sex like that!!"
"Well, here is some data that shows 50% of women have a "Plan B" man, initiate 70% of divorces, etc."
And then that's usually followed by ad hominems, poisoning the well, etc.

Like I said, it's fascinating to watch people with certain worldviews and ego-investments not wanting to be challenged ontheirgeneralizations, but then having no problem generalizing themselves.

RP is actually based off of some pretty interesting research. And from a purely physiological standpoint Dumar is right, all women are essentially the same. His problem is he extrapolates that to mean every woman will react to situations and people exactly the same way. He forgets that nurture and social constructs exist to sway how women (well, people in general) react to different things and he pretends all women fit into a neat little box that he can string along whenever he wants with "trigger behaviors" or whatever bullshit he thinks he's got nailed down. It's the same for men too, all men are the same until our upbringing and interpersonal relationships help shape and mold us.

For instance when he says all women are ready to cheat when they're ovulating... I mean, that's ridiculous. But biologically speaking that's when a woman is going to be horniest and is actually more likely to act on impulse than when she isn't ovulating... because of actual natural urges. When you separate the rhetoric from the research it actually makes good sense. When you add some kind of ridiculous game plan on top of it to socially engineer getting your dick wet it goes way off the rails, resulting in RP.

Except neurologically (talking molecular neuroanatomy) and genetically (which obviously affects molecular neuroanatomy) all women are not exactly the same, so the assertion that on those levels they are is still false.

Met this chick at the bar the other night, we talked over food for like an hour, laughed, joked, got along really well. I asked for her number as she left and she gave it up. Called, no response, so I texted her today, no response for like 10 hours.

Then randomly as I'm about to go get shitfaced and pickup some skank she gets back to me and says she was really busy with work and couldn't respond. I might actually give her more than the usual 2 minutes if this escalates, she's kept me interested for this long.

You called before shooting a text huh? Ballsy move these days. Texting is so ubiquitous now that lots of people find actual phone calls annoying unless it's family or a close friend.

So glad I dated and found my wife before texts and social media. What a PITA it must be for the Millennials, no wonder they are hipster cunts (j/k)

Yeah, her. And I've never got that shit. "I left you for this other guy because I thought it would be better but I was wrong, lets get back together." (until I find something else I think is better again)

She's just confused, she's 19 years old and afraid to go out on her own, that's why she stays with that dude. He's got a job plugging in cables from daddy so he makes a decent living (~45k) albeit less than me, but he pays for all her stuff.

I can't blame her for being scared, even if I don't understand it. The day I graduated high school I moved to a different state and started with 700 dollars (that I won from a scratch off ticket that I bought at 5AM as I was leaving NY to go to PA). That shit was hard, many nights starving, eating only ramen/rice for months, not able to pay bills, couldn't go to school because it took forever to switch to an independent status and the government was still trying to use my parent's income (which meant no financial aid). So I could see why she would want to stay in that security blanket.
