My wife did that shit too and played the "I want a divorce" card when I woudln't let her. We've been married for 19 at the time and I had NEVER given her reason to believe I was cheating etc.. Came to a point where I said "ok" and moved out. She changed her tune and we worked it out. If there's no trust wtf is the point.

I'm not going to let past negative relationships impact current/future ones. To be distrustful of someone because of something someone else did is silly to me How is that any way to live and how is it that other persons fault?

As a liberal cuck, being cheated on is probably one of Potatoe3's fetishes. So he probably meant that question as a positive.

I agree that trust is the only thing that counts and the moment you allow for doubt, shit is probably over anyhow. I don't shy away from noting that another woman is attractive and I don't rage when my wife talks to other dudes. I cannot imagine staying in a relationship where someone did that kind of shit.

If my phone dings while I'm driving, I hand it to my wife so she can tell me who is texting. She doesn't read the text, just tells me a name. Same happens when she drives. There is total trust, and no need for secrecy, but if she demanded to read all my texts, I'd be pissed. Not because I have things to hide, but because she demanded. Why would you do that to your partner whom you trust?

If the answer is that you don't trust me until you read all my texts, then fuck you very much.

I will frequently text from my wife's phone to her friends some really weird crap. Stuff like "hey bring a bikini to work tomorrow, we are doing a calendar shoot of all the nurses". They think it is hilarious, even the married ones. I don't know how I get away with it.

I will have her reply to text messages to me and facebook messages from you guys whenever I am driving. Sometimes I will have her start a new text message with someone and she has to scroll through and find them. She finds you people retarded when she sees stuff talking about this or that.

Total trust and if I stopped letting her see mine or she stopped letting me see hers we would both understand it.

Sometimes I'm planning surprises for my wife via text or email. So I generally don't allow her to look at my messages or otherwise mess with my phone. I also don't like her messing with my phone cause she'll close the porn and stop downloads and shit.

I read my wife's texts once when she got her new MacBook and her iMessages were going there as well. I felt guilty but my curiousity got the best of me. I told her about it and apologized and that was the end of it. Her and some of her friends like to bitch about their husbands and it's mostly bullshit but I told her if she didn't come to me with things that were bothering her and just told her friends we'd be done and I think she gets it.

My g/f read my messages once, she saw me venting and was pretty mad. It's a friend I've had for 22 years and it's a woman. Shes happily with another man but she (my g/f) "jokes" how we're in love with each other (we aren't). I give her a long look and she stops, I think she knows shes being ridiculous but it's that typical woman insecurity stuff.

My wife accused me like that before, few years back. Except I fucking work, come home, do shit, go to sleep, repeat. First logical question would be "when?" Am I sneaking quickies at lunch time? Am i skipping work to hang in some motel?

It think its either she is projecting (shes cheating and blaming you for the same) or its a simple comfort test.
