Granted some of the numbers they chose for the grind achievements (Insane one aside) are questionable, but yeah basically what Gavin said. I haven't encountered a better achievement system myself, and really, what more can you do with one? This one has good rewards sprinkled throughout, and literally EVERY achievement gets you something, not just 10 cheevo points like most systems. This one and the Souls games are the only ones I've really cared to go out of my way to gain more than what you'd normally receive from simply playing the game. And the Souls games are purely for prestige, there's norealreason to do those either.

Couple new costumes from a new fortune card they are releasing. Danger Room is 100% full playable and they are tuning it plus a bunch of stuff being announced at PAX. Kitty Pride still on for September and Blade in October.

So today might be the last day to get the Wave 3 presale pack. 40 bucks is a pretty great deal for 3 heroes, 3 hero stashes, and 3 costumes. And it's a little less crazy than shelling out for the full advance pack at the beginning of the year.

From what I heard it's just a single separate stash tab available for splinters. You can't buy it with gold but you can't buy other tabs with splinters.

And over the years, the only things buyable with splinters (largely) are heroes and team-ups.

Over the years they have stated that there would never be a stash sale. This week there has essentially been a stash sale AND they are adding a stash tab that is buyable with splinters if you so choose. They are only giving to the players and taking nothing away.

Then don't buy it.

Wizardhawk might buy it, since he apparently completely refuses to spend actual cash on the game, to the point that he was going to give away a bifecta just to clear stash space. But they aren't taking anything away from you by adding that stash tab as an option.

Don't really see the issue, stash space is premium, makes sense it's expensive as fuck. Tbh I think most splinter costs were high as shit. It's like 400 for most team ups, when team ups are barely that useful if you already have one at all. Some heroes were still 600 when I checked the other day even though they were old as shit. In fact 600 for stash doesn't even sound that expensive, 1000 would still probably be acceptable, considering. It's great for people who don't want to spend money since the game is barely manageable without stash tabs, the lack of mules really makes it hard.

Team ups for splinters are a giant ripoff considering how little difference there is between any given teamup and the fact that so many of them cost 600 splinters. Splinters are for random hero boxes and ult upgrades.

if someone is never going to spend any money then they are irrelevant to pricing
