I guess the nerf to Storm isn't as crippling as I thought it would be from reading the notes. I never used Lightning Column for the stun, sounds like they buffed ball lightning, so the only real nerf is that they gutted freezing tempest or whatever its called. Wonder how bad the nerf to One Off is.

Storm didn't get nerfed at all. She got buffed. Any buff to ball lightning is a huge buff to storm. Lightning Column should only ever be used to regain spirit, bad storm players spam it, good storm players spam Ball Lightning. Ball Lightning is the best damage dealing ability in the game.

I just read all the numbers. Ball lightning is getting a 249% damage buff to the main ball and Crashing Hail is getting a 51% damage buff. Freezing Tempest's damage was probably too high considering it's an always on passive effect essentially but that is a huge, absurd buff to Ball Lightning.

So my original plan was to buy Cyclops + a 450. Now I'm torn between Cyclops, Colossus, and Ms Marvel since I'd like to have a tough melee character on my roster.

Cyclopes consists of rolling around like a faggot using Optical Blast or whatever the fuck his channeled is called. It is tedious but he levels very quickly because that skill basically erases half the screen.

my cant all game companies be like Gaz, 99% buffs, 1% nerfs, 100% fun.


Thinking up picking up a new char, the following interest me - Rocket, Deadpool, Cable, Punisher. I think i need a gun !

I currently have Iron Man 60 with Nightcrawler (omg fun) and Cyclops in the 50s.

Any advice on the 4 chars i listed?

I've played many characters to 60 and Deadpool is my main and my favorite. He has a versatile and unique playstyle. Rocket can be alright but also tedious. Cable plays very, very similar to Deadpool but, I feel, is worse at all the things Deadpool does.

With all the changes, including the bone claw buff, my Wolverine can kill the boss dummy in 8.5 seconds now.

Speaking of, what's max level for crafters/vendors etc?

I got Crafter to 10 and Enchanter to 9 so far, and other vendors at like 4-6 or so.

Thanks for the tips on Legendary Quests - just been flying. Level 45 now. Gonna take a break and get dinner but hope to hit 60 tonight maybe. I work this weekend sadly, but I hope to be able to take as much advantage of things as I can.

BOGO heroes I did alright on - bought $50 worth of G since this is the first game I've played more than 10 hours recently, so figured it was worth paying basically full price for. I did get 2 duplicates but a bunch of new heroes to mess with. Most of the randoms I was happy with - only Thing not really looking forward to.

Started with Colossus

Bought - Black Widow, Hawkeye, Ironman, Nightcrawler, Scarlet Witch, Taskmaster, Storm
BOGO'd - Spiderman x2, Cable, Cyclops, Squirrel Girl, Thing, Duplicate Taskmaster.

Now have Deadpool from the free hero code up above.

A good haul imo, well worth the $50. Should keep me occupied for a long time I'd think. It's the kind of game I can play while also watching TV and whatnot.

Oh that's awesome! Just got Deadpool - I thought about getting him but didn't want to pay the 1350G for it, was wanting to maximize by buying lower cost guys and getting lucky. The one 1350 I bought was Ironman, cause, well, it's Ironman.

Wasn't expecting a total freebie like that.
