What I'm saying is they introduced his mother in a fairly significant background role in one of the biggest MCU movies but that was almost 10 years ago now. I would have expected them to introduce him sooner, even if only a pre-gamma version of him, otherwise why use Helen Cho as anything more than a quick cameo?

Captain Britain is way more retarded than Captain America, not sure they can pull it off like they did with Captain America.
There's not even a strong "British" identity in most of the country anyway, I don't identify as British at all, I'm English. So who is this for?

Because Captain Britain isn't just a copy of Captain America. Completely different power sets and origins. Actually Captain Britain is way more interesting in that respect. He's not portrayed the same as Captain America is. Captain America is portrayed as the paragon of being an American. Captain Britain is just a superhero that protects his country when needed. That stems from what you said about "British" identity. They don't have the same sense of nationalism Americans do.
