So is there going to be anything of significance happening in these movies? ie someone dying or major change to the universe?

Great trailer , just that small tidbit was an awesome ride. Cannot wait , as for Serkis maybe they decided on him for Dr Strange?

Yes, I could see this being the reason for Downey's version of Stark too die, and one hell of a way to go out from this.
Read somewhere that he is gonna be in Cap 3 , was some article on highest paid actors and he got a nice sum of cash to star in it.

End of Avengers 2, could be the spark that starts the Civil War, with Capt 3 bringing in more of the story/characters that were major players from the comics(With either Iron Man or Capt dieing at the end). Gotg 2 begins with the guardians capturing Bruce, and Thanos stealing the infinity stone from Xandar(possible anniliation tie-in here, showing the true Nova Corps and Richard Rider trying to rebuild it...) Avengers 3 could be the end of Civil War, and start of the Thanos wars(with the infinity gauntlet)Avengars/GotG tied together + brings back Hulk too earth..
But it still asks a question who's brain will The Vision takeover, in order to be useful in Avengers 2..

Asgardian God, Serpent breaking his shield with his bare hands lol....people with god style powers can very easily break it, Hulk has broken it a couple times also basically the vibranium hit's the limit for the amount of force it can shrug off and just shatters.
