I didn't think there was anything wrong with the second Hulk movie. It wasn't great but it certainly wasn't awful.

Isn't Sebastian Stan signed for 7 movies? I always wondered about that. It makes sense now. He has one more film as winter soldier maybe in Cap3. Then he takes over as Capt.

Which ones? I've barely ever read any standalone Hulk stuff, other than Planet Hulk. And Hulk: The End, but that's more a What If thing so it wouldn't work within the MCU.
I haven't read Hulk in awhile ,but most of the Peter David and Dale Keown arcs were really good from the 90's. Also Future Imperfect, and the Red Hulk arc that Jeff Loeb wrote.

I don't read enough comics to tell you all the ones they have now, but I believe there are still some good books out there.

Hulk has a very large cast of villains, and heroes.

IIRC, the suit was threatening Pepper because she had an extremis heat signature and they were being targeted per Tony's instructions.
I'm talking about early in the movie when stark is having nightmares and wakes to see his suit hovering threateningly over pepper. We were led to believe it was a result of the nightmares, but what if it was something more?

Hurm.. in the wild ass guess and speculation department here.. but...

Hulk loses it starts trashing <insert_city_name>, Stark has to bust out the HB armor. Eventually subdues him. This sparks the start of Civil War via superhuman registration, but also sparks the need to put Banner on a rocket and launch him to Godonlyknowswhere. Hulk stand alone movie of essentially Planet Hulk with lots of Ruffalo in flashbacks remembering how he tried to master the "condition", eventually leading to him reaching the style of Hulk at the end of the PH comic run (more of a merged consciousness thing). Planet Hulk movie ends when the GotG crew show up because Drax wants to see if he can beat this incredible green warrior king of a planet. Subsequently Banner shows up after, and asks to hitch a ride back to Earth if they could... without them knowing what they were bringing home with them.

As for RJD wanting to hang up the armor... It's already been mentioned in some interviews with the Marvel folks that they want to approach the characters the same way James Bond works, with actors taking over the role without a "reboot" most of the time.

As for that trailer... I had to excuse myself to my bunk...

Why do you guys keep trying to put Civil War in the MCU? It's not happening. There are no secret identities, Marvel doesn't own the movie rights to Spiderman, there isn't a way for the storyline to make sense.

It's going to be like Age of Ultron where they use the name but it doesn't really match story wise.

Besides has Marvel confirmed Civil War yet? All I've seen is guesses, because I also heard that it may be Fallen Son.

At the rate they're going with the thanos stuff, it's likely that the entire 20 year plan is just the infinity gauntlet arc.

I doubt they're gonna have Hulk Rage and ravage a city, it's been done to death for 40 years, I think Hulk is in charge of peacekeeping, if you look at the scene right b4 the hulkbuster comes in, Hulk is hidding behind cars with the police, then Hulkbuster drops in and he immediately attacks it. It's probably back story of how Banner felt scientist bro betrayed by Stark (since they're both scientist buddies in avengers1) that he'd invent an iron man suit to deal directly with Hulk.

I like the idea that ultron is controlling hulkbuster. Or possibly that hulk is sent to clean up some terrorists or whatever but losses control and ironman comes to stop him and gets trashed

This seems most likely to me. Call it Civil War but it's very little like the comic. Just done with the scale of what they have. Like a bastardized version of the original story.

Though elidib sort of mentioned, where the fuck does all this leave Thanos?

I'm pretty sure they mentioned that Tony Stark will be the antagonist in Captain America 3 and Avengers 3 wouldn't be the same Avengers as they currently exist, so something is going to go down that fractures the team in Avengers 2.

Doesn't Hydra do something to Banner that causes him to lose what little control he has over Hulk? Maybe that is how Quicksilver / Scarlet Witch are brought into the story (as agents of Hydra), then see the disaster they caused by messing up Banner, get all guilty and help the Avengers out to become the new "core" members along with Vision for AV3?

Well, Iron Man is a member of Guardians of the Galaxy in the latest series. So maybe he branches away from Avengers trying to save the Earth and focuses on being in GotG, trying to save everyone else before bad shit even happens to the Earth?

Some people missed a big chunk of the civil war as to what reason made it happen.

Civil war was Tony Stark on an illuminati power trip. Most people knew who the avengers were without masks, same for the FF. Only spiderman has a real tight grip on his secret identity, so as a PoV character in civil war it looked like the main reason was superheroes taking their masks of and making themselves known...but that only counted for spiderman.

Tony Stark wsnted to police the world and be director of SHIELD. In wich he succeeded....shortly. Tony Stark thinks with making superheroes government cops he can regulate the only thing he cannot defeat... And Cap goes against it, wich he has done before when he renamed himself Nomad.

The school bombing thanks to the new warriors was a set up by some company that did damage control on a government contract. They gave nitro some badass superhero steroids that made his already impressive explosions go nuclear. For Tony Stark this was the exact thing he needed to enforce the registration act.

Civil war was only about revealing secret identity to spiderman, and him being Starks pet chihuahua made it all the more dramatic, but he was the only one to publically reveal it, because he was the only one whose identity was unknown.

Word of the street is that SW does something to distort Hulk which turns him against his allies; hence the view of crazy Banner riding home on the Quinjet in the teaser.

Is there any "leaks" as to what side scarlett witch/quicksilver (the twins) are on. If it's Hydra or double agent Hydra or "black ops". If I remember Ultimate Avengers, they both just popped out of nowhere and said, something like "oh well, ever since (that incident) our identities are blown and we can't be part of black ops anymore so we'll be the "face" of the Avengers too now".

Also Age of Ultron is just a name, there's actually no way it can relate to the comic series of last year b/c it was all about Wolverine and Sue Storm time travelling to lop off Ant Mans head, cuz of the fuck up he is. Only that a World w/o Ant Man is worse than w/ him so Sue Storm and Wolverine go time travelling a bit to fix the fix.
(This can't happen cuz of Wolverine/Sue Storm belonging to fox, basically the hook is Wolverine is all "fuck that, lemme snikt Ant Man, cuz that's what i do man, who's with me?" Everyone says "fuck you, we're going to the future instead to fight a battle we will most definitely loose, lets take this time machine and go!" Then there's only Wolverine and the most PC Mary Sue Storm House Wife Superhero around. She's now the Fantastic One so , fuck it, lets kill Hank Pym.)

Umm they were shown being experimented on by Hydra in Cap 2. So I assume that they are going to be Hydra brainwashed and then switch sides during the last act of the movie. Other than they will be with the Avengers at the end of the movie, not much else is known.

From the trailer it looks like Stark has created a robot police force early on which he probably gives some stupid mandate like "save the world" at which point enter Ultron.

Hulk buster could be Ultron but the couple of snippets in the trailer of Banner looking in a bad way seem to confirm Hulk losing it, possibly because Hulk would view Ultron=Iron-man and feel betrayed.

No sign of Vision yet but that probably won't be shown until the movie. They gave the teaser in the poster, more than that will spoil it.

Avengers 3 will be infinity gauntlet. It's possible that Stark uses the mind gem which was presumably inside Loki's staff in the creation of Ultron.
