If I had to guess it will be Bucky since he replaced him for awhile in the comics, and also has a form of the Super Serum running through him.

Evans doesn't want out. He just said the movies are exhausting because of long shoots and his workout routine. Think in the same interview he said it was worth it in the end because of the character he gets to play in these awesome movies.

It's either Bucky or BlackFalconmerica both of whom really suck(ed) in the comics. You know why they suck? cuz they spend 1 year trying to legitimize them as the "New Cap", dealing with their short comings and inability to live up to the legend, only to have Cap magically appear again. It's happening now with BlackFalconmerica, half his speech bubbles, is Cap this, Cap that, I'm Cap now!!!, Cap wouldn't do this, But this black cap would!

Understand a lot of it is posturing. If Evans only talks about how much he loves doing the movies, it can interfere with contract negotiations. If you notice, rdj does the same thing and he keeps coming back with a higher paycheck.

That being said, Evans has always said he likes smaller projects.

If they are going to kill/get rid of anyone, why wouldn't it be Hulk? It would go along with the comics in a sense.

It would be really tough to kill the Hulk if not impossible.

People have speculated Beheading Banner, but his body senses danger so fast that by the time the blade hit the skin it would already be like hitting a wall.
It would take a cosmic force to destroy him imho.

Banner also mentioned in the Avengers that he tried to kill himself , and he could not.

Lee hated Norton's concept, and I dunno if they've even discussed standalone Hulk films with Ruffalo.

Doesn't Tony Stark still have to remake all his Iron Man suits? I'd guess that somewhere in that process is where Ultron is born
I'd say it's pretty clear that Ultron is the AI that governs the suit's behavior when Tony isn't in them gone rogue. I think they gave us a hint of him in IM3 when the suit was hovering threateningly over Pepper.

IIRC, the suit was threatening Pepper because she had an extremis heat signature and they were being targeted per Tony's instructions.

Tony makes a shit ton of automated suits so he doesn't have to suit up anymore and they can be in all parts of the globe at any time. It's basically drone warfare. Obviously he can't control 50 suits in his tower by himself so he starts introducing AI into it. Of course it fucks up and tada Vision and Ultron. Probably the rest of the Avengers are all fucking-A! Tony you just created an army of self aware robots that will go rogue. Then Ultron does go rogue and leads the robo-revolution. Cue dissention with the rest of the team and Tony. Kinda sows the seeds of doubt that leads to the friction when the registration bit shows up for Civil War. Fury shows up with Coulson and they give some rah-rah speech about being a team and magic pixie dusts SW/QS join the good guys. They win the battle. But it's a Phyrric Victory. Maybe someone dies. The Team will be shattered. It's the Empire Strikes Back of the trilogy. Avengers 3 will be the fallout from the other Marvel Movies that start the Civil War story line. The Team deals with their issues and comes together as the threat of Thanos looms.

Looking at this timeline, there isn't a new Hulk movie coming up (unless it's one of the "unknown movies"). I'm not saying they'll kill the Hulk in A2, but I would've thought he'd have another movie after it.
Kevin Feige said that the Hulk doesn't make for a good main character to carry a movie because he is always trying to run away from the action or whatever. Said something online the lines that he makes for a great supporting character in the Avengers movies and sees him more as only being in them. Now granted this was like 2-3 year ago IIRC so I am sure you will see him in other movies like Captain America but not in his own movie.

I find that hard to believe, and Hulk has some terrific arcs in the comics.

It's all about supporting characters, and the Hulk has a lot of them that aren't owned by fox.

But a comic arc, and a movie are very different mediums.
both visually, and in terms of length.

they tried several times and failed to do a great job making Hulk a movie star. Not to say its not possible... I mean, we could say the same for the last 4 superman movies..

2nd Hulk didn't do that bad at the BO.

And Ang Lee should have never been able to touch that franchise, he's a fucking fruit.
Hulk vs Giant poodles and a Gas monster, that's exactly what I want to see...

There are many Hulk contained stories that can be translated well to the big screen, and to be honest they aren't even doing singular movies anymore they are doing arcs.
