Don't forget Raina's clairvoyance(wonder if anyone got that ref) she pictured Skye leading the inhumans.

Also, seems like May only looses to powered ppl.

I thought it was kinda nifty how Daisy has been this unstoppable badass lately, but May barely broke a sweat against her until she busted out her powers.

considering the flash was a non finale this week with a much smaller budget on an indy network, their ratings are incredible.
They had a Reddit on this recently. CW is about as indie a network as Fox i.e. not very independent. They are held by Time Warner who owns the WB.

There are no reported numbers on what a Flash episode costs, but since we can see other shows on the CW we can project what they might cost.

One episode of Supernatural varies from 2.2 - 2.5 million. A episode of the Flash probly costs between 2.5 - over 3 million. Which puts it right in line with a high tier Network show.

Also this weeks episode's of The Flash was billed as a crossover special, so not exactly a normal episode in cost, or audience.

are we supposed to remember that Xena lost her arm too the same way as Coulson did, she touched the obelisk and Hunter cut off her arm, but ultimately died to car crash.

Yea that just shows the poor training Hydra guys get, i mean Skye only trained with May for a year or so. While i doubt any human can beat May, not out of favortism, but b/c she has more blackbelts than BlackWidow, and while yea that doesn't mean more kick ass, i'm sure she's supposed to be the litmus test for "oh shit, we need bigger guns"

One thing that I found really, really, dumb about the finale is the ending with Simmons. You mean to tell me that some super dangerous alien artifact, that Nick Fury is willing to sacrifice an aircraft carrier for, is in a box that can be accidentally unlocked with a single touch?

Or that Fitz didn't notice that sound from him bumping into it was him opening it and reach over to close it again? I mean it could been a bit smoother, yeah, but you have to be trying pretty hard to find fault there.

A single bump should not be able to open up a box like that, is my point. It's bordering on Prometheus levels of stupidity

That artifact probably just sensed Gemma's hatred of inhumans and decided to bond with her. And tentacle rape.

At writing level, the error might have been to have it be opened accidentally. It's always difficult to make a believable accident, even more so in this context where you have something that is supposed to be as safe as possible, so, in theory, impervious to accidents that are not a long chain of troubles. The issue is they did not have time for such a chain of events and if they went for a "curiosity killed the cat" route (that was hinted by Gemma wanting to take a sample and being denied), then there is someone to blame, so it's not the same story. Personally, I would have gone with the long chain, but in the next season, finishing this season with the fish oil montage.

While the accident was a bit of bad writing, I guess we can attribute it to both being somewhat a bit giddy over having just sorta planned their first date.

Next year should be fun.

I could definitely see Gemma come back with some sort of power that affects Inhumans, since the black essence is supposed to be dangerous to them, maybe she's gonna be a weapon against Inhumans.

Won't happen, but would be a good mechanism to introduce Ms. Marvel and other nameless Kree-related heroes/villains. Kree device that's basically an artificial Inhuman cocoon sent in with specific objectives that instills them into whatever it can empower.

I can't imagine they would introduce Ms Marvel 4 years before her movie is due out, even if it was just a brief teaser showing her origins. She's also way too powerful to be on the show unless they make her a lot weaker in the MCU, and god would that disappoint me.

LOL, you using the word "cocoon" brought the image of Adam Warlock to mind, and I remember there was a female version of him...called Her...she became Kismet.

The only problem would be that she is a cosmic level character.

Just watched it. It wasn't accidentally opened with just a touch. I noticed when he was doing it, he was playing with the latch in a nervous manner quite a bit. I can't say it wasn't an accident, but it was way more than a touch. Ever since the little talk in the locker room, I knew something was about to happen to one of them. When they teased us in the gordon fight, I naturally switched to thinking something would happen to gemma and i was on the lookout.

Oh and the shitty ratings might have been because it was 2 hours. It took us a while to find a 2 hour block where we could watch it.
