Sounds like it hasn't gone liquid form since it happened either, probably hasn't snatched anyone in centuries so you can't assume it reacted to anything special.

it looks like they depowered skye. last year she is moving mountains, but now she is having trouble holding back a blue porcupine even with help from inhuman paul walker?
They didn't depower Skye. She is wearing the gloves they made for her last season that allows her to dampen her powers so she doesn't level a city every time she uses them.

Also Lash is supposed to have the power to absorb energy which I think is what he was doing there.

Powers
Energy Conversion: Lash can convert energy from various sources and subsequently emit it from his palms. His powers are capable of disintegrating a living being.
Energy Absorption: He can draw the necessary force needed to convert said energy into another energy form for him to use.
Energy Manipulation: Lash has shown he can control whatever energy he happens to have on hand at the time for a variety of effects beyond just disintegration blasts.

Ward is next week.

According to Elizabeth Henstridge's (Jemma) twitter her arc takes all of the first half of the season but she gets back with the team in episode 3 or 4.

That's all subject to change as to how they splice the episodes and sub story arcs.

actually looking back she only had the gauntlets in the beginning of the eps w/ the extraction, all the other times she powers up has been bare hands.

I'm pretty sure she powered up her boobs.
That's a good superpower if you ask me.

And the implication is that it's not just the fish oil that's going to cause terragenesis, either. Could very well end up in toothpaste - there was a line mentioning sea fauna, iirc? - and more. Right around the time they did the dispersion model screen, I think it was.

By the way, when they showed that time to 100% total saturation (17 months and something I believe), I went and looked up when that was and if it matched up with any major Marvel events, because they sort of made a big deal of showing the time. Unfortunately, it doesn't match up with anything except a potential Wolverine sequel. Two months or so later is Guardians of the Galaxy 2, but even if they deal with Inhumans there I sort of doubt it is going to tie in much with Agents of SHIELD.

I guess I was too much of a fanboy looking for easter eggs, oh well.

TV time line doesn't have to equal real time line. 17 months could be the time until Civil War events start. Though I doubt civil war will have much to do with Inhumans. Could tie into Dr Strange but the most likely answer is that it's self contained to the show.

It was definitely a good start and did a good job making me excited for this season.

More superpowers can't be a bad thing.

Love the new plane too.

I sounded like a Nostradouche when Fitz opened that thing and said it was a Hebrew word and Coulson asked him which one. "Death" I pronounced with great solemnity.
I did too. It wasn't all that impressive of a guess.

New plane is called Zephyr 1, designed by Fitz to deal w/ inhumans, probably why it can fly forever and has the drop pods.

btw POTUS is the same one from ironman 3, when Rhodey rescued him.

next eps has guest star Alexander, that's gotta be cool.

Please say you mean Jaimie Alexander. Please please please.

Yeah, I was being sorta sarcastic about how obvious it was.

Why are the palms of the hand always the conduit for shooting your enemy with your super powers?

Also, would one get out of breath blasting blue energy beams out of said conduit? I get winded from a flight of stairs.

i never got a satisfying answer till i read about bioptics in mass effect
They must then develop conscious control over their nervous system, which is a long, slow, difficult ordeal (except for the asari, who possess a degree of control naturally). Biofeedback therapy is commonly used to aid in this process. Once trained, a biotic can generate and control dark energy to move objects, generate protective barriers, or restrain enemies. Biotic abilities are activated using a technique called "physical mnemonics", in which the biotic uses a physical gesture to cause neurons to fire in a certain sequence, sending an electrical charge through their eezo nodules and creating the desired effect.
i mean of course all fakey fakey, look at iron man's palms, he's got big ass circles in them, how does he close his palms to make a fist.
