With Bobbi, I'm thinking they're going to do a reverse "save the princess" thing where Hunter gets caught by Ward and Bobbi swoops in and gets her guy out. I hope they don't, but I can see it happening.

I don't see Bobbi going to save Hunter again (but what do I know, not sure how that's going to play out). I would not be surprised to see Fitz playing a big part in taking down Ward, that would be pretty cool.

I'm guessing the thought is: Show results by finally apprehending a single Inhuman, or show results teaming up with the guy who has successfully apprehendedmanyInhumans. Considering how inept Price's team has been, the latter is much quicker and much bigger results.

Right. SHIELD has experience, her team doesn't. The only ones they have been able to "capture" are the ones killed by Lash. Plus, given how much she seems to know about Coulson, I can almost guarantee she knows that Skye/Daisy is essentially his surrogate daughter and thus a way to control him. Daisy being captured results in Coulson doing whatever it takes to rescue her, but the blackmail-type power they have over Coulson by just threatening to take her/release her info to the public ensures he plays ball.

I wouldn't be surprised if she went after Lincoln purely knowing it would lead to being able to use Daisy as leverage. As Coulson pointed out, not forming an alliance would've almost certainly put the two factions against each other. If Price's goal is to show results, having to constantly contend with SHIELD is going to have a major impact on that. This solves that problem.

Only thing that strikes me as odd right off is the fact that we have this rebuilt SHIELD that clearly has a lot more resources than we were led to believe throughout s2 (hi helicarrier) but we're still limited to this small team of agents with Coulson doing field work. Sure, it kind of has to be that way for a TV show, but it kind of bugs me regardless.
Also, funny that all we want now is more Ward.

Yea, I don't have a clever term for the issue of always using the one team for everything, but it annoys me in a lot of shows. I think it would take the show to another level to have a few very minor characters that act as farflung lieutenants with a bunch of extras as shield office workers in the background. They basically did that last season with OTHERSHIELD led by Admiral Adama, and Xena's merc crew on hire, but now they've dropped that facet again.
They could even just mention them here an there. Team Alpha is on a mission in X so I will need you guys to go do this one or Team Alpha needs backup and then just show them pinned down etc.

Stargate is like the biggest perpetrator of "the entire universe" revolves around these 5 people, who got constant power upgrades. Supernatural might be the only one worse.
Stargate really highlights it as a problem because its supposed to be this big organization with at least 25 teams. yet... seems to actually only exist as 7 people. Anyone else does show up its usually them dieing.
you watch Startrek, and while there is the main cast. When something military needs to happen, Worf as the security chief organizes his crew to go do things. things get delegated. and it actually makes sense as an organization. Med crew stays in the med bay 99% of the time. Characters have job profiles and do that job profile. they don't do EVERYTHING.
Law and order is another good example of doing it right.

It would be so easy to make SHIELD look bigger. A scene of another team bringing someone in. "Oh we caught this inhuman". Done. Daisy team is main team, but there's clearly at least one other team out there.
Though to be fair they're pretty clear that metal melter guy is the first one they've captured.

Just setting up some plausibility of SHIELD being on one side of the Civil War and Secret Warriors on the other, or at the very least the show just preparing to go through the motions of their own Civil War, with things mostly smoothed over in the aftermath episodes after Cap 3.
