I am all for a game that embraces Manifest Destiny and conquering, enslaving, or eradicating the locals. It would be a refreshing change of pace and more realistic. No way that game is coming from EA/Bioware though.

Well I honestly don't know what the fucking plot is about. We spend 600 years traveling to Andromeda with microcosm of the ME universe.

Ranger Joe Shepherd encounters Archon (whatever the fuck it is) and locals probably know how to deal with it since we saw alien cities there chilling.

I say bring on galactic enslavement of these dudes!

My guess is that the plot will follow SG:A just a bit too much. And instead of Sheppard and McKay fart jokes, you get SJW hamfistedness.

We have to maintain our space diversity.

If the robot has the body of EDI and is voiced by Tricia Helfer, bring on the robosex.

Harbinger was the first Reaper, he's the one that keeps possessing collectors to fight you throughout ME2.

Zaphid Zaphid Sovereign was the reaper in the first game.

sovereign had one of the best space video game bad guy speeches ever made, too bad ME3 turned reapers into fucking space roombas

Harbinger is the Reaper in dark space who takes control of individual collectors via the Collector General. The leviathan DLC reveals that Harbinger was the first reaper created in the image of Leviathans, and that the catalyst vacuums up the galaxy every 50k years removing all advanced life and creating new reapers to honor/remember destroyed civilizations.

Gavin means the first Reaper, not the Reaper from the first game. You guys are both correct but not talking about the same thing.

Oh yeah forgot about that ME3 DLC not written by Drew Karpyshyn. Also why did you change your name I had no idea who you were?

Eh I changed it as a gag back on Rerolled because it freaked people out. The lulz are long gone but I've just been too lazy to have it changed back.

As for Sovereign, he wasn't the 'leader' of the Reapers even back during ME1. He was a pathfinder/vanguard that was investigating why the Citadel had failed to activate, and Vigil speculated that it might have taken centuries for Sovereign to figure out what the Protheans had done due to his need for absolute secrecy. Conversely, Harbinger chills at the base beyond the Omega Relay, possessing collector drones rather than engaging you directly. So while they didn't directly say 'this dude is in charge of everything', he was obviously much more important than Sovereign, and definitely more of a general than a soldier.

Nothing in Leviathan actually goes against anything Karpyshyn wrote. In fact it fits so well that I would assume it was based on notes of his or something, which means he essentially did write it.
