Was waiting for the Jomboy breakdown. Ramirez did nothing wrong imo, shouldn't have been suspended more than 1 game.

I won't say Ramirez did nothing wrong. Every infielder is thought to hold a tag until TIME is called even after the initial safe call. Because if the runner ever leaves the bag without time being called you can still record an out.

I haven't seen an angle that shows when the umpire grants Time and how long or if Anderson held the tag after Time was granted. If Ramirez is complaining about Anderson holding the tag after the safe call, fuck him. He should know how this works. If he was complaining about Anderson holding the tag after Time was called then maybe he has a gripe.

Either way, I'm glad he knocked that bitch down.

Also a bitch complaint when you slide head first. Again, doesn't mean I'm not also happy he cleaned Anderson's clock. But he definitely had a hand in the brawl getting started.

Putting your finger in another man's face isn't exactly a passive act. Again, not saying I'm not happy how it turned out, but Ramirez definitely had a hand in starting it.
